Do not use this (or any other cool mist humidifier) with tap water. It takes the minerals in the water and can send fine particles into the air, which aren’t good to breathe in. Manufacture simply suggests distilled water on an inside box flap, but it needs stronger messaging.

Love this updated version! It ran all night (a solid 8+ hours) without running out of water and even lasted a little longer than I expected. It puts out a great amount of mist (or “steam” if that’s what you call it 🤪), which really makes a difference in the room. The built-in night light is soft and ambient—perfect for nighttime. Super happy with this purchase! I used this in a pretty large size open living room / kitchen / dinning room. Although I slept on the couch so I was close to it. This was indeed a purchase for myself but I will be getting one for my kiddos room! Only con is it is pretty large in size so if I were to keep it on my night stand full time I would loose a good bit of space! Worth it in my opinion.

Design upgrade! I had two of the original ones and I hated how you had to fill and clean them. You couldn't clean the inside. BUT this one is absolutely AMAZING! Easy to clean and use. Definitely recommend for littles room!

The only thing that worked was the light. We literally just bought this for a sick kid, but couldn't use it. No vapor/mist would come out when turned over on.

I love the new design of full open top to fill water, colors, speeds, ease to clean. however I hate that the cord does not unplug from the unit itself. The old model was easy to disconnect and take to wipe out/fill and plug back in with out disconnecting from wall outlet behind a dresser.

I bought this a month ago and used it twice so far for my sick son. I cannot stand how it gets everything soaking wet around it. I turn down the setting and it still makes everything wet. Wouldn’t recommend
