Q: I purchased the barrier bounce spray and serum. After cleansing when do I use the serum, and when do I use the spray. The verbiage is calling the spray a toner so do I cleanse, tone with the spray, apply serum, then moisturize and apply sunscreen?

    Oily mess.

    I had previously tried the serum and I was kind of on the fence about it so when I saw the mist, I thought great, maybe I’ll like this better. Well it was the opposite. First of all, the sprayer stops working about halfway through the bottle. Instead of a fine mist it starts to come out in sharp jet like sprays. So no big deal, I’ll move it to another bottle. So I did that and it did the exact same thing. Which tells me that there’s something wrong with the formula and it’s unable to be effectively used as a mist form. In addition, by the time you get down toward the end of the bottle, it’s nothing but straight oil. It doesn’t sink into your skin. It just lays there. And you end up looking like a greasy mess. So I finished up the bottle using it on my body, and this is definitely not something I will buy again.

    Nozzle spray became a stream

    The spray nozzle was spraying fine but after a few sprits it became a solid stream that shoots out. I don’t know how that happened but seems like a mechanical issue.

    A Mist to Obsess Over

    It's the same Barrier Bounce I already love in a lightweight mist! And I obsess over a good mist. While this is lighter, it imparts the same moisture, comfort, and glow as the OG. It is a stellar product and now it has a sidekick! Just one note ~ this did arrive when the temp was below freezing. I, of course, had to test it out immediately. At first I was disappointed because I mistakenly thought the misting component was awful. Instead of a pleasant mist it was just spitting large droplets at me. I eventually realized that happened because the liquid was just too cold to mist.Tried again after it had some time to warm up to room temp, the mister is lovely and just what I'd hoped for.

    Great for oily skin

    I am an oily skin girly so I get worried with serums sometimes that my face will look like a slip and slide with serums but because this is a super fine mist it almost feels like nothing is there. It absorbs great in to the skin!
