Hamilton Beach Durathon 3-in-1 Steamer/Iron 11559

I've owned a few clothes steamers & this is the better one. I would recommend this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been using this Hamilton Beach Durathon for a awhile now and it works great at getting the wrinkles out. My clothes look sharp. It has a powerful steamer. It's so easy to use. I like that it has a one touch digital steam selection with 3 different settings. It also comes with a fabric cover for delicates which comes in handy for my work clothes. Warms up fairly quickly. It gets the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is easy to use. Does not take much space. I was able to use it in my bathroom and it was not bulky like others that i have seen. Heats up quickly and does a good job. It only took only a few minutes to fully steam the dress shirt. The instructions were not very good but luckily it was easy to figure out.

I thought it might be difficult to use as an iron, but was surprised at the ease of use after adjusting to the style of the product. I only occasionally iron, so having an all-in-one product that can also be used as an iron is great so I don't have to keep space for two separate products. It heats up very quickly so it's ready to go without much time or setup. I absolutely love that the steam comes out continuously when the steam button is held down. I have had other steamers in the past that struggled to keep steam flowing, but not with this product. Additionally, wrinkles were removed without much effort...only one or two passes. The weight was a tad heavier than expected, but nothing that caused me issues when using it. But, I like that it feels solidly made, and that it comes with an attachment to use with delicate fabric. I loved using this product on curtains hanging to remove wrinkles and refreshen them. Plus, it's been great to remove wrinkles quickly from clothes.

The 3-in1 steamer/iron is lightweight, compact, and stores easily in your linen closet. The iron part is smaller than a traditional iron size, but not significantly and it didn’t make a difference to me. I also like that you can completely remove the water reservoir rather than having to take the whole thing to fill it up. It works just as well as any steamer and iron I’ve used before and is easy to store too. I think the one downside for me is that it has kind of an awkward profile and doesn’t allow me to lay it down flat and keep it in a drawer that at typical iron or steam would when face down, but I can live with that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This steamer is excellent! This is the 1st steamer I've ever used. I used it on a couple of outfits and they came out really nice. The only issue I saw was some white stuff seam to have come on my clothes which was not a big problem becuase it wiped right off with a damp cloth. The steamer has a good size water tank and very easy to use. I liked the design an found that is was nice not having to use an ironing board. Overall, I really like the steamer, it was easy to use, nice size and I would definitly recomend it to family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I’m impressed. This steam iron heats up quickly, puts out a good amount of steam, and the vertical steaming feature actually works great. I like that it’s compact and easy to handle. My only minor complaint is that the water tank runs out a bit faster than I’d like if you’re doing a lot of steaming at once. But for everyday use, it’s great and feels well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty easy to use for someone who has never owned a steamer. Have only ever used an iron up until now, but this steamer does a pretty decent job. Have only had a chance to use it on one of my husband’s dress shirts and it seemed to do the trick. Think I still prefer to use an iron for dress shirts in the future but can see the benefits on using this on other items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the amount of steam the steamer puts out. It gave a continuous flow of powerful steam when I was steaming fabric for quilt squares. I switched over to the iron, and was less impressed. I feel that the shape of of the base when the water tank is attached impedes the effectiveness of the iron. The base is slightly rounded in the front and it kept dragging on the ironing board. This means you can't use steam while using the iron. I was a little disappointed in that. I thought this would be perfect to use while sewing instead of pulling out the "big" iron (I use steam when ironing while sewing). But I'm very happy with the steam and if I have use for a dry iron, this will work well without the water tank attached.

The water feature makes sure the unit dos not get ruined from build up or pouring into the wrong place or overfilling it. Heats up in no time and you don’t need any other spray to help you gets the hob done

However, I didn't think it steamed my clothes as well as my regular steamer. And when I tried to iron, it left a mark on my clothes. I would probably buy this as an extra steamer to have around the house. This would work find as an extra iron/steamer.

While the shape of the ironing plate isn't identical to a standard iron, its easy to work with and makes perfect sense as a clothing steamer. The ease with which this iron swaps between a dry iron and a steam iron/steamer is really great. The water tank connection feels secure, and the tank doesn’t empty too quickly, in my experience. The plate heats up quickly, and after a small amount of lead time, the steam portion works as well. It’s not too much steam so that you drench your fabric, but not so little as to be useless. The clothes steamer also works well, and the delicates plate is a nice addition for steaming delicate fabrics.

The digital mode is bright, easy to read and simple to use, which makes switching between settings easy. I especially like the large removeable water tank. The extra-long cord also gives me plenty of flexibility to move around without feeling restricted when steaming curtains. What I like most is the versatility, I no longer need to keep both an iron and a steamer on hand- this one appliance does it all.

I really appreciated its versatility — I was able to steam most of my sweater and then switch to ironing the sleeves to smooth out the remaining wrinkles. I also like that it has a fabric cover for delicate fabrics. This device does a better job than using just an iron or just a steamer.

It’s very gentle and works really great!!! The other settings are also great for the tougher materials that I wa unable to get out with a weaker steamer I have used in the past. I like how versatile it is works as a steamer, or a dry iron. I like the is small grate for traveling to touch up clothes. And it can be used on delicate fabric clothing. The ceramic soleplate glides smoothly.

Turn it on using digital selection button offering delicate, medium & high settings. There a separate button to turn the steam feature on & off. This product quickly heats up & quickly steams when turned to steam setting. For its size it has a strong steamer. The water reservoir hold a good amount of water. When using the steamer in the upright position it draws water at the bottom front edge of the reservoir. The steamer/iron does better on cotton polyester blends. It struggled to remove wrinkles on 100% cotton items. On a man's button-down dress shirt of cotton/poly blend, it removed wrinkles & creases but took longer using this small iron then a standard size iron to do the entire dress shirt. The Durathon faceplate glides flawlessly over fabrics. For our shower curtain, it easily removed creases & wrinkles. I love that it has a fabric cover for use on the delicate setting. This cover while in place easily glides over fabric. While I do prefer the larger standard iron while using an ironing board, I see myself using this steamer/iron frequently for steaming fabrics.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the Hamilton Beach 3 in 1 handheld steamer. It was pretty easy to figure out how to use it. I didn't really need to read the instructions. I like the water reservoir being at the base of the unit. To me that helps water leaking from happening. I tried it on my dining room curtains and after it heated up, the creases came out pretty quickly. I will be using this for the rest of my curtains.

He does not have room for an ironing board so this product is perfect. It steams his shirts and pants perfectly. I love that it is not too big since storage is limited. It is also a steam iron. You can also iron without steam. A perfect combination iron!
