A: The car has a built-in battery pack that is not replaceable. The controller uses 4xAA batteries. The car is charged using the included UBS-C cable.

A: Textured ceilings, maybe (texture has to be shallow; "popcorn" ceilings, no. The flatter the surface, the better. In my case, we have semi-gloss painted ceilings and walls and the car had a hard time transitioning from the wall to the ceiling (the wheels would slip).

Gravity Rover – Disappointing Performance Right Out of the Box
Unboxed the Gravity Rover with high expectations, but it failed to deliver. Despite a full charge and going through all recommended troubleshooting steps, the rover did not climb or maneuver on walls or the ceiling as advertised. It remained grounded, functioning more like a standard floor RC car—if that. The suction mechanism appears weak or non-functional. Build quality seemed okay, but that’s about the only positive. Returned it after multiple failed attempts. Disappointed overall.

Does not work - don't purchase
It doesn’t climb up walls as advertised. Its wheels are tiny and any tiny piece of debris makes the tires lock up and stop functioning.

Do not lose receipt
I bought this as a gift and when it was taken out of the box we had put batteries in the controller. Once everything was charged long enough we found out that the control did not even work. The indication light never came on to connect to the car.

Doesn't Work
My son received this as a gift. He was able to play with it for like 10 minutes and then it stopped. We let it charge over night. We even changed the remote control batteries and it won't work. It won't turn on, doesn't light up nothing. Love the idea of it but such a waste of money and my time trying to fix it.

Disappointing
The blades would spin but it wouldn't move/drive at all. It was a Christmas gift. Unfortunately we rarely shop at Target and I couldn't figure out where it was ordered from until now. My son was really excited about it was frustrating that it didn't work properly.

Cool but no wall climbing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cool little toy but does not climb the wall for me. The fans turn on but it just falls down the wall. My son definitely thinks it’s cool, he’s 3 so this is a cool little item to him. I’m not quite sure on the battery life just yet.

So fun but finicky
I'm going to be honest and say I bought this for myself as a 38 yo woman who has never used any kind of RC vehicle. SO EXHILARATING! absolutely worth it. My dad got it on the ceiling 1st try took me 4 tries. It's fallen 2 or 3 times from at least a couple feet onto hard floors and has held up fine. Be careful picking it up if the wings are moving, it can nick your finger. I'm going to try and return this one though because it doesn't drive straight at all. Hoping a replacement will fix it. Will update to 5 stars if I can get a perfectly functioning one. I say go for it, very fun!

Faulty gear preventing the wheel from turning
My son opened this up on Christmas morning, charged it and was so excited to play with it. He turned it on and one of the gears keeps popping out and doesn’t allow the wheel to turn. With all the excitement of Christmas, the original box wound up in the trash. So, no way of returning it. Tried to “fix an issue” here and it only tells me it MUST be taken to a store. Bummer.

We bought 2 for Christmas gifts. One works for 3-5 mins on a full charge and the other didn't work at all as one of the gears wasn't attached properly. They simply do not work.

Within 2 minutes of opening and putting batteries in, it was broken. A little spongy piece got sucked into the fan and shredded. After that it would only roll in the ground and the baseboard. Garbage and very disappointing as a Christmas present for my child.
