I purchased this scooter for my son in December as his Christmas gift, and it has never worked. Shortly after purchasing it, I was away on vacation for about a month. When I returned and finally assembled the scooter, it would not turn on or function at all. I even spent more money ordering a replacement battery/component, hoping that would solve the problem, but it still didn’t work. I tried returning it to my local Target store, but they told me I had to contact Target online. Target then referred me to the manufacturer, who sent me to my Allstate protection plan. After contacting Allstate, I was told they couldn’t help because the scooter had never worked from the start. I’ve been passed from one company to another without anyone taking responsibility. I paid for a scooter that never worked and even purchased a protection plan that has been completely useless. My son never got to enjoy the Christmas gift he was so excited about, and I’m left without a working scooter or my money back. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I expected much better, especially after purchasing a warranty. I hope someone takes responsibility and makes this right.

DO NOT BUY
I received a bike that was damaged. I need to return the bike, but the warranty is not returnable. They included NO information on how to invoke the warranty either. Who do I call, where do I take the bike etc? Complete rip off. Now I need to dispute this on a credit card.

Waste of Money!
I purchased a kids Huffy bike in July and was hesitant to get this protection plan, but the cite said tires are covered...so I thought! 4 weeks ago the rear tire popped so I called Allstate. I was told that the manufacturer's warranty was still in effect so I needed to call Huffy. Huffy said they don't cover tires. I called Allstate back and the young man processed the claim as an accident (which it wasn't) so the claim was denied due to negligence! This is absurd. The kid was riding on a paved road in front of our house in a nice community. There was no negligence involved! At any rate, I now have a protection plan for a kids Huffy bike that was supposed to cover tires, but doesn't! What a royal waste of my money! It's going to cost me $25 dollars to get the tire repaired.

Phone number?
What’s the phone number for this protection plan? I called the Allstate phone number and they said we don’t know the phone number and the agent was not aware there was a bile protection plan.

Made good on the warranty! Easy filing process
They came through when my sons scooter stopped working! You never know if these extended warranties will “work” until you need them- I purchased this for a nicer model scooter I bought him as we had problems with batteries on cheaper scooters in the past. Alas the day came that he said the battery had started to fail 5 or so minutes into his ride. So.. I filed a claim- screen shotted my target receipt and they made good on their warranty. They sent me a target gift card to reimburse for the cost of the product ( minus a couple dollars). I am so pleased and would recommend anyone purchasing a product with a battery take them up on their warranty. Thank you Allstate

Joke of a protection plan
If it let me put 0 stars I would! My daughter had had her hoverboard for less than a week and the charger broke! But this warranty doesn’t cover the charger because it’s an accessory! What a joke of a protection place

Great Mongoose Bike!
Bought it for my 10 yr old son's birthday. He was so happy!! The # of gears, the brand Mongoose was offered at such a great price! So glad my husband found it. Such a cool looking bike! Pick up was seamless at nearby Target.

Best plan ever
This plan is great. My boyfriend was riding his bike and the gears seized up, contacted Square and within a few minutes figured out the best option for us and within a few days we had a check in the mail. I would highly recommend this plan.

Warranty
Shouldn't have to pay in advance for repair and then wait to get reimbursed but it's better than not getting reimbursed at all.
