A: Steps to draining a BUNN Speed Brew: Flip the tank switch to the OFF position, unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool for at least 2 hours. Remove the funnel and the sprayhead, loosening with your fingertips. Grasp the back of the coffee maker and turn it upside down over a sink. Continue tipping the coffee maker until the flow from the sprayhead tube and lid stops. Attach the sprayhead and insert funnel into coffee maker, then return the coffee maker to the upright position. Leaks
I have had this coffeemaker for a year and a half. It has started leaking brewed coffee from the bottom of the unit. I've used Bunn for years and this is the first model this has happened with.

Broken Within 6 Months
First, the burner stopped working after 6 months. Shortly after, it stopped heating the reserve. Just stopped working basically. It’s completely plastic, too. I did a lot of research and thought this was a great option. Guess not. I’m very disappointed.

BROKEN HANDLE
We have bought quite a few bunn coffeemakers over the years and we have always loved them. However our latest purchase has come with a broken (?) handle on the filter basket. There is clearly a piece missing from the front of the basket, paying this much for a coffeemaker we would have appreciated a proper handle, much nicer looking and comfortable to grasp than what we have received. We have searched the packaging several times, to no avail.

Too sad this is not what you expect from Bunn
The metal” handle on the carafe and filter basket is paper. I always put both on top dishwasher rack and both peeled off. Also, don’t like the it does make a mess if you need your coffee before brew time is done. Throwing this model in the trash and going back to original model.

Makes the smoothest coffee!
This will make the smoothest coffee you will ever make at home. It has a water tank/heater that keeps the water at the perfect brewing temperature so the coffee doesn’t get scorched by having scalding water hit it like with a regular drip machine. It also starts brewing immediately; no waiting! You just have to remember to turn off the tank when going away for more than a few days.. There’s a reason why all the restaurants and coffee houses use Bunn

Worst coffee pot
Worst coffee pot I ever tried! And I wanted to like it for the aesthetic. My cheapo coffee pot has a feature where if you remove the pot mid brew, it will stop the drip until you replace the pot. This coffee pot does not. Pulled the pot out mid brew to top off my cup and coffee poured out everywhere. What a mess.

Worked doe only 10 months then stopped heating very well. Price point is too high for 10 months of use! Hated it not having auto shutoff. Overall cheap looking plastic base. Disappointing and expected more from Bunn.
