Whoever made this change obviously has no sense of smell. Putrid and offensive, Why change a good product for the sake of change? This was a wonderful soap for so many years used for so many household uses. You've just lost massive customers. I feel sorry for the wildlife rescues that will be bathed in this. Poor things.

It's literally impossible to beat dawn. There is no better dish soap. I like that I can buy a large amount of it to refill my soap dispenser. This helps me waste less plastic. Since dawn is so great, this lasts me about a year before I need to get any more. Sure, I'd love for it to not be bright blue or have other scents, but it's always a gamble using any other brand.

Not "original" and can't leaves a terrible scent on pans and dishes

This is suppoded to be the "original scent" which I've never cared for as it was, but I received the "new clean scent" which is far worse. Synthetic scents are toxic to begin with, but this awful scent is so strong that I cannot rinse or scrub it off my pans and dishes; so when I cook anything I can mostly smell this synthetic sickening scent. This means that I'm also getting the chemicals of this terrible scent in my food. I will switch back to Seventh Generation unscented, and use essential oils of my own if I want any scent. No more Dawn which was bad enough to begin with, but was made far worse with the "new clean scent". I was only buying Dawn for a while because it is cheaper than Seventh Generation, but it is not worth the savings of money when it contributes to ill health with the residual scent & chemicals left on cookware and food plates and bowls. Since it won't rinse off, it certainly does NOT clean effectively.

I ordered the "original scent" but the photo shows the "new clean scent" which I received. The scent is so potent that I cannot wash or rinse it off any plates or pans that I wash with this soap no matter how long I rinse ans crub the plates and pans. It is so bad that I can smell the soap (and not the food) while the food is cooking in pans that were washed with it. Since th odor does not rinse off, that means that the chemicals in this soap are also not washing off - so we are eating these chemicals with our food.

Dawn has been my goto for years! Love its cleaning power and its neutral scent. Just ran out of a large jug that I had been using for a while and got a new jug. I was instantly hit with a headache-inducing smell. I can’t handle strong perfume smells - and some are worse than others. This one is terrible!! Please bring back the original scent!!

If our local store shelves are any indication, we are not alone. This is just one moment in time, but unscented 7th generation dish soap (never heard of them before) is almost sold out while Dawn is virtually untouched. Dawn, please get the message! I loved my Dawn Ultra because IT WORKED. I noticed there are a whole bunch of bottles with quite a few different scents - why?!!! No one wants dishes to smell like cranberries. Dryer sheets with these scents are terrible, why dish soap?! For whatever reason you made this change - undo it soon AND fire the person/team who thought it was a good idea - it was not.

This says "original" in the title but it is NOT the original. The new accent smells like shampoo, and not one I would choose. It's unappetizing, and after decades of using exclusively Dawn I have to find a new dish soap. I don't not want to eat off of synthetic perfume scented/covered dishes. I'm so disappointed.

I've used Dawn original dish soap my entire adult life. I don't even know what else is out there, but I'm about to find out. And when I buy the new stuff, I'm also gonna need to buy a new dispenser for my sink hole, because I don't believe the smell will wash of this one. I washed my hands 20 minutes ago and it's still actively bothering me, and I've been trying to get past this for weeks now. Has there been new research showing that oily baby ducks recover better when they stink of terrible, terrible perfume? If so then I'll feel bad for leaving this review, but I'm still going to have to switch to another brand.

I thought I was losing my mind or being poisoned. This new scent is awful. I mean the smell is terrible but the worst part about it is it will not rinse off. I overly rinse and everything tastes like this dish soap. I promise this is not just a personal scent issue. I cannot use a product that cannot even be rinsed off. I've had to replace dishes because of it.
