Ember Travel Mug 2 12oz Temperature Control Smart Mug

I would probably buy this if I could just plug it into the same USB-C cable I use to charge everything else including my computer at home/car/truck/boat/work. I get that people might not want to have an attached cable, and the stand is slicker when sitting at a desk, but for me, there's no way am I getting multiple ember-proprietary charger stands, or carrying them around with me. It would be slightly better if it used standard wireless charging, but I'd still want the wired connection.

I have owned Travel Mug 1 and Travel Mug 2. They are excellent for keeping products at the appropriate temperature while the battery lasts. Beware - Huge product flaw with the lid. It is a spring and latch activated lid that you can push down to lock open and push down again to close. This system is poorly designed and fails regularly into the closed position. I do not use this function and only keep my mug lid in the open position. With the way the mug is designed, I have never felt a need to close it. My third lid just failed this morning and I have only had this current replacement lid for 8 months. This needs to be addressed.

I bought one for my husband, an electrical and computer engineer and very particular. He loves it!

I have bought 3 of these. Worked great for a month or two, but now all three don’t hold a charge and are useless.

Battery station doesn’t work properly. Pins are always getting stuck regardless of how neat I keep it.

The mug seems to work great, keeps the coffee at the desired temp. However the lid for it broke on the inside and now it won’t stay open to drink. The 1 star is for the complete lack of service. I have reached out to support a twice and received the automated response stating my query had been received. I offered to just buy the lid, I am not looking for anything free, I just want to use the mug! That was weeks ago now with no further response. It is a very expensive mug to have this happen and not get any support.

Love the mug. Hate that it stains (white). Even when sprayed with Dawn and soaked overnight, stains remain.

I received this as a gift for christmas and it already isn't working. Just says battery cooling. When I put it on the charger the writing isn't even legible?

The mug is great. However, the lid stopped working within a month. It is stuck in the open position.

Worked for 2 tries. No customer service. Just a paperweight now after two cups of coffee.

The lid on this mug is garbage. I have had them replace the lid twice now, and they stopped answering my requests for a third since the other two also busted within a few weeks,.

I have had my mug 3 years now and it still works great. Only issue is I have to replace the lid every 8 months or so due to the seal loosening. Otherwise I love my travel cup!!! I don't alway get to finish my morning coffee right away at work and it keeps it hot until I can.

One month later, I’m so happy to have this Cup ! No more cold Coffee ! I can enjoy My Coffee in My Time. Thank You.

Great mug but I had to have 4 replacement lids. They broke and stopped opening if you shake a hot drink with the lid closed. And my find my phone did not work. The Lift driver lifted my mug and I can’t locate it. Over priced under performing.

My mug is two years old. The app hasn't worked in over a year. The display on the front of the mug doesn't always work and the charge doesn't last long anymore. Very disappointing for the expensive price.

Best coffee mug - keeps it as hot as you want, have had for a few years now and one of my favorite gifts

I do not recommend. The battery life is very short. It takes a very long time to charge. The travel mug overheats and gets hot on the outside. The water gets cold very fast. First I thought it was a user error but after following directions, the same issues persists. My regular thermos can keep water hotter for longer and it doesn’t require charging. No issues yet with the lid that a lot of consumers are mentioning.

There nice but the price is a little steep. Compared to the fact I can get things comparable for a whole lot less. Price needs to come down for sure!! At least have a speacial for 2 mugs or 2 mugs and a tumbler or a quad set .... just seems like for what I'm paying for n getting doesn't add up ..

It’s a great Christmas gift from my wife, 12 oz travel mug. But the lid is a piece of junk! It only lasted three or four uses, about a week... I recommend that you do not buy this mug until they finally fix the lid. there’s so many complaints about it . Between me and my wife, we have several 14 ounce mugs. They’re great.!!

Went thru 4 lids already. Some lasted 1 month. Doesn’t work without working lids.
