Good Replacement for 10yo HyperX Cloud
This was a good replacement for my ancient gaming headset, a HyperX Cloud from about ten years ago. I tried my daughter's headset, another HyperX Cloud (USB), maybe about 4 years old, but my friends complained that the mic wasn't great, focused on high sounds and losing the low end. As I normally use plugs not USB, I looked at the reviews of this HyperX and decided to give it a try. It works great and friends say the mic is much better. I do miss the fit of my old HyperX, but the new one works well. Honestly, I'd give it 4.5 stars of 5, because I still find myself missing the fit (and maybe slightly better sound quality?) of my old headset after a few weeks of use. If I could suggest anything, I'd offer the buyer the option to receive a complimentary short-length Y to connect to separate mic and headphone ports (my original came with what must have been a two-prong connection for speakers among other connectors, and I found this very thoughtful).

Cheap microphone
The microphone was good while it lasted but it would randomly stop working and mute itself and would only start on it own

Disappointing Experience with HyperX Cloud Stinger Core
I was really looking forward to trying out the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core wireless gaming headset, but unfortunately, it's been a letdown. Firstly, the sound quality is just average. The bass is lacking, and the highs can be ear-piercingly sharp. I've used better-sounding headsets in this price range. The wireless connectivity has been spotty, with frequent disconnections and interference. I've had to restart the headset multiple times during gaming sessions, which is frustrating. The build quality feels cheap, with flimsy plastic and a headband that's already showing signs of wear. The ear cups are also quite small, which can be uncomfortable for longer gaming sessions. Battery life is another issue – I've gotten around 10-12 hours of use, which is below the advertised 17 hours. But the biggest disappointment is that it's NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MOBILE DEVICES. I was expecting to be able to use this headset with my phone or tablet, but unfortunately, it's only compatible with PC and console. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile wireless gaming headset. There are better options available in this price range.

Headset itself is great, microphone sucks.
I love the headset by itself, it's flexible, comfortable and it has terrific audio quality. I can't say the same for the microphone. Sure it looks cool, but whenever I talk it always sounds like there is tv static in the background. After the numerous hours of trying to fix it I still couldn't get the microphone to not provide any static when I'm talking. If there is any sort of weird method to fix this PLEASE TELL ME. I don't want this headset to go to waste. Overall 3/5 half of the package is great while the other half sucks.

Mic Issue?
This headset is pretty good, as pictured. Don’t know if I did something wrong, but every 10 minutes or so the mic would produce this loud static noise. It would only last for a minute, but come back later. It still works, so still happy.

The Pros..
This headset has some minor improvements with one of the key points being the material used for the ear cups which I really liked especially for someone who sweats a lot the older versions of this headset always got destroyed easier these so far have been phenomenal and no static issues. I will note there isn't a line of colorways to choose from but if you have a PS5 this will look nice with it being that it's white colored.

Hyperx has great headsets BUT these are not the ones
Both sets of head phones, when you hit the switch to turn the mic on the mic stays on. It’s especially annoying when I’m playing a game with random people. They’re also no where near as comfy as the original hyperx headsets I had. I’m pretty disappointed. I reached out and emailed hyperx and I never got a response also.

Amazing Headphones!
I loved these headphones they have great noise cancellation as well as great audio quality and I also asked one of my friends in an Xbox party if my new microphone sounded better and he said it sounded many times better, and the best thing is that they work on Xbox too.

Overall Experience
The headphones are quite nice. Although, the overall build quality is kind of weak. It’s a bit flimsy and can be broken if not careful. The material around the ears can be a little itchy. The audio quality and mic are exceptional, however.
