  • A: To install the Keurig Water Filter, simply follow the below steps: Step 1: Soak the charcoal filter cartridge in fresh water for 5 minutes. After soaking, rinse the filter cartridge under running water for 60 seconds. Step 2: On the bottom of the handle, press in the tabs on both sides of the base at the same time and pull down to separate. Insert the filter cartridge. Step 3: Reattach the bottom of the Water Filter Handle. Step 4: Insert the handle into your empty, removable Water Reservoir. Be sure to push down firmly all the way down to correctly attach the Water Filter to the inside of your removable Water Reservoir. Please feel free to visit the support page on our website for helpful tips and videos on how to install the Keurig Water Filter properly.   • A: The K-Café SMART coffee maker does not brew espresso - it brews espresso style beverages. It does not use pressure to brew the K-Cup pods. It brews the K-Cup pods the way any other Keurig brewer brews them, but since it only brews at a 2oz size, it is a more concentrated, stronger cup of coffee that resembles the flavor and roast of a classic espresso beverages.     Wish I had purchased it sooner

    I am truly enjoying the K-Caf Smart. After owning Keurig machines in the past and decided to upgrade to the Smart machine. I walk my dog early in the morning; I now come home and make myself a latte every morning. It has been a marvelous experience. Purchasing the Machine as part of the bundle was the way to go. I also appreciate that I can now control the temperature and the strength of my coffee and using the app has been so easy.

    Barista at home!

    This is perfect for my family and their different wants when it comes to hot/cold drinks. Only thing I’d say negative is that it disconnects from the WiFi daily and frother isn’t the easiest to clean.

    Will not connect to Wifi - NOT SMART

    My Smart K-Cafe will not connect to my home wifi and Keurig has been unable to help me. It's a total disaster.

    Thank goodness for the 2 yr warranty !!

    I’ve had the same issue 2x with this model , 1. After just one year 2. Slightly under two years of use… attempt to brew a coffee and the machine does not complete the brew and it cancels it. It makes a funny sound, and next thing you know, water is pouring out from the bottom of this machine everywhere.! I keep my machine very clean. Use only bottled water and do regular cleaning maintenance to remove any buildup. I don’t know why this is happening, but when it is not happening, it is a great machine, but thank God to Keurig standing behind their products and offering a two-year warranty, I was able to get a replacement both times.!, thank you for standing behind your products!

    Bed replacement

    Original machine stopped working at one year and two weeks. This replacement will not stay connected and won't start brewing until I remove the frother even though it is not being used.

    K-cup Smart

    Love the new unit does great on custom brews. Lot of fun with the blue tooth great with the phone , I have not been able to get it to work with Alexa, so not real happy with the smart programing but, the coffee pot is the best.

    Makes good coffee when the software works.

    Already running into a lot of errors with this machine. It seems like they rushed it out before getting the software right. I am frequently told to add water when the carafe is already full, or told that the brewer won't start until the frother is done when the frother isn't even being used.
