A: I agree with you, you’re not missing something. We’re not in charge of the product listing name on Target.com. I’m the designer who created it and we’ve not ever referred to it as for “boys”. I don’t know how it ended up with that title in the listing, I’d assume it was chosen by a system trying to optimize for SEO but I had the same reaction when I saw the title had been changed.

So when it's sitting on a nightstand or table and you tap on the top, it presses down and activates those buttons. If you try it sitting flat on a surface to turn the light on. Very cheap-feeling, the alarm went off but no green light. With no red light on this clock to message to toddler to start in bed, there's no visual guide. Returned next day and buying one with red, yellow, green for sleep training.

Great while it worked!
While it worked, it was great! We wanted something simple to use without a lot of bells and whistles. We didn’t ever use the alarm clock setting, so I can’t speak to that. But, the okay-to-wake light was super as was the night light with adjustable brightness. I do wish that the night light could go just one more level dimmer. Three stars because, like so many products, it’s cheaper and more profitable for companies to make a thing that lasts only long enough to get good reviews. It stopped working after a year when the cord got finicky and then ultimately wouldn’t any longer turn on. More unnecessary electronic waste in the landfill, making the planet worse off for our kids’ generation and more money out of our pockets buying stuff that’ll just break in another year. Sigh…

simple and all you need
I bought two of these clocks for our then 4 and 6-year-old and we've had them and use them for over a year now and they have been wonderful. anyone saying that you can't turn off snooze, is clicking it down more than once to activate it. this is a really simple clock without any bells and whistles, but if you're just looking for something that either tells them they can or cannot wake up( no gradient.) then it's perfect. our kids still abide by it and it brings a touch more sanity to our lives. you can also easily pack it up and bring it on trips with you

After months, makes a strange buzzing sound, and I will not use it
My son LOVED "Cloudy" for months, and it helped our sleep so much. However, it has begun making a buzzing sound when plugged in and I am nervous to leave it plugged in! He misses "Cloudy," but I am hesitant to pay $20 for another one if this could happen again. I did email through the website weeks ago, with no response.

This clock worked SO well for my 5 year old daughter. It only lasted 9 months and now the display won't come on. It sits on her nightstand, there's no banging it around. Little clock
It's cute little clock but it's not enough buttons for all the functions which makes it very difficult and frustrating to set. You also can't turn off snooze, so it just keeps going off for a while after you turn the alarm off.

Bought 2 and both were defective
I bought one of these and the nightlight would not turn on. Exchanged it for another and after about a month it stopped telling time properly. I would reset the time and it would just start displaying another random time within an hour or so. Also the nightlight is pretty bright and harsh, not a nice color / intensity for restful sleep.

Difficult to use
Settings are very irritating to adjust. If you never have to adjust the times, I guess it would be fine. Half the time when I press the minute button, the hour adjusts, and vice versa.
