Best eyeshadow primer
This is by far my favorite eyeshadow primer. It works really well and at such a good price point. You only need a small amount for your eyelids, and I notice that my eyeshadow stays in place all day without creasing. The eyeshadow primer also helps to intensify powder eyeshadow color payoff. The primer is invisible. It doesn't add any color to my lids, and it doesn't make my eyes look textured. It's not drying, though I wouldn't say it's moisturizing either. I've gone through several tubes of this, and though I have tried more expensive eye primers, I keep coming back to this one.

Made my eyes water. I don't know what is in this formula but it really irritated my eyes. I took it off with some eye makup remover and the irritation stopped. Sorry it had to go back.

I applied this to bare lids, then shadow as normal (all powder shadows, haven’t tried a cream yet) and when I tell you IT STAYED. To preface, I usually have a crease in my shadow by noon, by 5 pm it’s most of my pigment in that crease. If I need to go somewhere after work I have to wipe that off with a q tip, blend out the remaining shadow and add pigment where it’s patchy. But with this stuff, not needed at all. I put it on at 7am, worked 8 hours, it rained all day so it was humid, took a body shower at home & left it on just to see how it held up, no budge at all, no crease nothing. I took it off at 10:30 pm and it still looked like I had just applied it. Didn’t feel heavy, just not oily like usual. Amazing product for the price absolutely love it.

New formulation ineffective
The new formulation (purple tube) is totally different and ineffective. The old one (grey) was comparable and even better then the urban decay at a cheaper price. The texture of the new one is slippery and my eyeliner was a mess in 15 minutes.

Wow! I have used many eye primers, but this one is truly a winner. I have texture on my lids as I have aged, and this primer does NOT let my shadow crease! I have deep creases in my inner corners, and I never have to touch up or rub to smooth out because it stays put!

I've tried several eye primers, including Urban Decay and this is my favorite! I put it all around my eyes, including my brows, wait about 30 seconds then apply eye makeup. Stays put even in 95°+ heat. I definitely recommend this!

I think the formula for this product recently changed. It used to come in a silver tube and did not bother my eyes at all, but the last time I purchased it, it was in a purple tube and now every time I sweat it makes my contacts fog up and my eyes burn. It also has a different texture. It used to be more sandy/gritty and stayed on better but now it does not stay on as well. Caution to those with sensitive eyes. It’s a bummer because this was my go to product for years!

Great results
I love this eyeshadow primer - it keeps every eye look in place all day. I wear a smokey eye quite often and it keeps the dark and light shades in place. For brighter eye looks, the shadow kept their vibrancy.

This product, although effective in keeping my eyeshadow and liner looking good for New Year’s Eve, my eyelid skin had a bad reaction however… my eye area was itching all night and I thought it was just because I’m not use to wearing a lot of eye makeup and then later on when I used a micelar water to remove my makeup I noticed it was red and inflamed. When I work up the next morning I definitely had a rash that looked like excema or psoriasis (which I’ve never had before) also it was the only new makeup product I had introduced that night. Everything else I used… makeup, micelar makeup remover, cleanser, skin prep… were all items I have used before or using consistently for months so this is why I know it was this specific product that gave me contact psoriasis also cause the rash was on my eyelid and general eye area… took a couple weeks to get back to normal and even now I have had some minor flare ups when adding new products around my eye - which has never been the case for me
