Disappointed
I was very excited to get this machine but it has been a major disappointment. Tall mugs don’t fit under it, the coffee is only ever lukewarm, if the pod doesn’t sit just right the machine is super loud and vibrates, it’s clunky in general, the pods for basic coffee are too expensive, mine randomly leaks and twice this week coffee dispersed into the cubby for old pods and then leaked all over the counter. Oh and o hate the weird foam it produces. It is not crema, it is an inch or so of foam that I end up scraping off the top because it is unpleasant to drink. Every time the machine is loud or leaky I pray it is dying so I can get rid of it and not feel guilty. I hate to stop it if I think the brewing is off because pods are almost $2 and they don’t seem to work well after a second close of the machine. And it happens often so I don’t want to waste money checking to make sure it’s okay. It does make a nice iced latte though.

This is the second one i bought within 6 months, first one stopped working after a few months, bought another one and it stopped working after a few months as well. Eventually the machine starts to make watery espresso, leaks on the side, it started to be extremely louder than usual when making espresso. Then you’ll just get the red light every time you try to make your espresso. Waste of money, do not buy.

The coffee is tasty when it works. I wouldn't suggest purchasing it from Target, though, especially via shipping. It's shipped in the flimsy box you see on shelves. Needless to say, it arrived super banged up. So I'm not surprised it didn't work well.

Anyone using this not specialty machines to make coffee at home, will eventually realize that after some time the coffee is disgustingly bitter and gives you a chocking feeling that you can’t get over. I tried few different machines and the results were no different. The material used to make this machine has to be very toxic to give that kind of taste and texture. I love coffee, but I haven’t used my latest nespresso machine for a year now and it just seats there looking pretty. Also, the coffee pods -be ware when buying a bunch supposedly on sale. By the time you get to your third package they’re expired. By all means I took care of this machines as instructed and still no difference. I still prefer the store bought Starbucks I purchase for the last 20 years.

Honestly I would not recommend buy this. Ive had it for maybe 6 weeks and i can tell its starting to die. The sizes of the coffees have significantly decreased which is annoying. Its not consistent at all. it also takes two or three tries for it to brew. I will open it and close it a few times just for it to brew. I’m really disappointed with it after using a Keurig for years. The coffee is a lot better than Keurig but the machine is soo much worse. I would be surprised if my machine lasts three months…

Stops working after 1 year
Welp, I should have taken heed to the reviews that all said it stops working after 1 year. Because that's exactly what happened with mine. Worked perfectly for about 14 months then it started making a terribly loud noise, shaking violently, and the dreadful red light won't go away. I did all the recommended troubleshooting, but it's a lost cause and now I have to buy another machine. Overall, it was good while it lasted. My only big complaint (while it was working) is that it's a lot louder than I'd like compared to other machines I've owned i.e. Keurig. Will probably buy another Nespresso model.
