O-Cedar H2prO Flat Mop System

Horrible. I am a fan of Cedar mops but not this one. Not worth $50. The mop stays drenched not good for wood floors. Returning ASAP

This product is not worth the price. It is not ideal for wooden floors, as the pad does not wring out properly, leaving the floor too wet. To achieve better results, you will need to go over it again with a dry cloth.

Truth be told with 4 people in our family, 2 being kids. The one chore I don’t look forward to is mopping! This review would be for the mommas out there trying to keep up with the dirty floors and the worries of germs! With your traditional spin mop you are using the same mop head and dipping it into the same bucket of water after mopping dirty floors with. Well O-Cedar made a spin mop with a separate tank for the cleaning solution. But I was still not convinced. You are still using the same mop head for the dirt and dust and expecting it to still effectively clean and sanitize your floors. Now this one is a game changer compared to the others on the market. The other have 2 compartments, one for the cleaning solution and one for the dirty. But now you’re putting the dirty mop head into the cleaning solution. This one on the other hand it sprays the mop pad on one side and a dirty tank on the other. Not only is it light weight, but with the cleaning solution tank being small in my opinion it goes a long way. With easy remove pads. It’s easy to use one mop pad for dusting, then swap it out when you are ready to sanitize and clean your floors. What got me was after dusting the floors with the first mop pad, I was able to swap and watch the second wipe up the floors with no dirt and dust being picked up on it. Sounds like a hassle going over it twice, but left a peace of mind my floors aren’t being mopped with a mop head pushing around the same dirt, dust and germs along side with it. Sometimes more suds doesn’t mean more clean even if tik tok makes it look satisfying. Hope this review helps. I took a leap of faith after so much research and may have just found one I have trust in!

Cheaply made for the price that it is. A telescoping handle would make this product better. The plastic around this whole mop bucket is thin. Wouldn’t purchase for $50.

I purchased this item because my other cedar mop was breaking down on me. I opted for this one because its less bulky. Pefect for tiny spaces. I love it so far! I love how they have the 2 way system with the clean/dirty water.

Makes mopping easy and fast, uses very little water, lightweight and easy to carry from room to room or up and down stairs.

I just got this. I am disappointed. It's a good idea in theory, but in practice it just doesn't work. it is really hard to fit the mop head in the second slot. The bucket shakes and nearly tips over. At $50, I would expect a much better experience.

I purchased this mop system because it was similar to the Swifer system without having to purchase the cleaning pads. What I don't like is the water tank is small and runs out quickly. When you use the side to "ring out water" it keeps popping out and you have to keep securing it. I had a similar system I purchased on Amazon which is what prompted me to purchase, but this one I would not recommend.

I purchased this kit as I’m a previous O-Cedar customer of the spinning mop system kit. Overall, I was underwhelmed with the unit and feel the $50 cost was excessive for what you get. The water coverage isn’t even when applied to the flat mop head in the unit. Honestly, you are better off using the original O-Cedar spinning mop system.

Honestly i bought it twice and got disappointed twice. I bought it the first time I thought maybe I got the stick broken. Then when I returned it and got a new one to give it another try, it was good the first time I used it but the second time i used it the problem seem to be different. It was the clear water tank that was not working properly and it made it leak into the bad water tank. So don’t recommend don’t waste your money.

Feels like I get a way better deep sanitary clean with this versus a mop. My only complain is the clean water you have to refill it a few times but it’s easier and lightweight versus a normal mop ,so I just wish it could hold more clean water. Simple to assemble is a bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the O-Cedar H2prO Flat Mop System. It's very easy to assemble, you can use it in small spaces or cover a large area. The clean water is stored in a separate compartment and as you push the broom head down, it speaks it with the clean water. When you "wring it out" into the other compartment, your broom is clean again. This is especially great when you're trying to sanitize the floor. The cover is velcro, so you can take it off and launder it easily. It keeps everything fresh and clean instead of smearing dirty water around. I highly recommend!

Lightweight easy to carry bucket. Cleaning is a breeze with this. I have an ocedar warning mop but this knocks it out of the park

First off, I love how compact and easy it is to use. I'm not confident that all of the dirty yuck is being picked up and squeezed out but it does give me some piece of mind that there are separate dirty and clean water bins. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. The dirty bucket pour is oddly satisfying!

But I feel like the original is a little better at deep cleaning. The flat mop is amazing for cleaning walls! I like how compact the flat mop is compared to the original and how much lighter it is because of its size

The O-Cedar H2prO Flat Mop System has been such an upgrade for my apartment. Everything is extremely easy to assemble. The handles just snapped together and it’s simple easy to fill and weighs less than 5 pounds. The tank with the blue lid you fill with freshwater and it has a separate container for the dirty water. You can add a dash of floor cleaner, just don’t add too much. The best part about this design is the two slits that you slide the mop into. You would think that the towel slide right off, but the Velcro is so strong. It keeps everything intact. The first one is really cool and it’s not even battery operated but you just slide the device in and water will spray on the towel then you take them off out and put it in the second slit to ring the towel out. It only takes a few seconds and has made my life so much easier. I have tried at least seven different styles of mobs and this is by far my favorite. My husband never cleans and he actually really likes using this. The microfiber cloth is an ingenious idea with you being able to just throw it in the washer when you’re done and hang dry it. This is a great invention and works perfect for my two bedroom apartment! When putting the microfiber towel onto the mop, make sure you bend it over the Velcro and it stays put and doesn’t move. I even use this to clean parts of my baseboards and walls and the cloth stays still and cleaned better than any device I’ve used. I like that the cloth is white because you can visibly see how much dirt you pick up when mopping and the best part is that you don’t have to keep changing the towels out you can just rinse it and it lasts up to six months. The microfiber also has two rows with a grip that helps you pick up dirt from the floor. The container is compact, lightweight, and easy to store in my cabinet. I highly recommend this product. It has been life-changing!
