I have highlighted hair and first used it as a hair mask at night. It did not leave hair greasy. Than I used on wet hair to make it easier to comb. Overall, I'm satisfied with quality, quantity and smell. will recommend to friends!

I was fighting knots and frizz on a daily basis though I had trouble finding a leave-in treatment that did not have some form of dimethicone. I was literally pulling out clumps of dry, snarled hair...but not anymore! I bought this yesterday, I have only used it ONE TIME, and wow, what a difference! I applied it to my hair dry and let it absorb for a couple of hours, then I washed my hair (instructions indicate you can also apply it to damp hair). Even though I slept on it, it is still soft, shiny and silky! I'm ecstatic!!! I appreciate that a little goes a long way. Smells nice, too!

My hair loved this product. I have relaxed hair and I would used this with blow drying my hair. I also used this as a sealing oil as well. My hair did felt moisturized, soft, and was shiny after using this product. The scent of this product was also very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Shea Moisture products and the way they smell. This one smells pretty good but not as good as some of their other products. That being said, this is an oil but it's not too greasy. Now just because it's not greasy do not make the mistake of putting too much in your hair (like I did). A few pumps combed through long hair is just right. I added this to damp, towel-dried hair and then blow-dried as usual and my hair was silky and smooth! Even this piece in the back which is usually very dry seemed moisturized and a lot less frizzy. Overall this is a good product and I will likely purchase it again. Great ingredients and packaging as well!

The oil has great natural ingredients in it, and definitely will smooth and take the frizz out of your hair. I would caution people to be careful how much they use, I felt like 3 pumps was way too much for me and I have long hair.

I used it for breaking up the curly hair gel after my curl routine and it gave my hair shine and broke apart my curls so well! I also used it after a blowout and it made my hair less frizzy. The smell is so good too! definitely recommend!

If you have damaged thirsty hair all I need is like one drop for my ends otherwise my hair will get greasy. But, I could definitely see it being extremely effective, when my hair is bleached and super processed.
