A: Hello! Thank you for your question. We are sorry to learn that your Simply Ageless Wrinkle Defy Foundation wont open. Were here to help. The purple cap opens like a flap to reveal the sponge for foundation application. The glass top must be twisted off the purple cap to access the foundation inside. Make note of the clockwise arrow at the bottom of the purple cap, this is the direction to twist the product cap off to access the foundation. Lay the product between your palms with the purple cap facing toward the ceiling. Press your palms tightly together and twist your top palm clockwise to remove the purple cap.
