The design is the best
The design is the best feature by far. I washed it thoroughly before filling it and didn’t find it difficult—I just poured in hot water and dish soap, shook it up and rinsed, and let it dry for 12 hours. But while I filled it after drying, my grandparents walked into the kitchen at different times and both said “what is that??” It’s so eye-catching and unique. And the marine blue color looks amazing. Where it suffers a bit is in quality and ease of use. There are some ripples on the outer surface that look like maybe a defect from cheaply applied glaze, and some weird rough bits just on the inside that feel like sloppy pottery that was glazed over. Also, while the pour is perfect, it does drip a tiny bit down the spout after each pour. After four or five pours, it starts to drip down the side and onto the counter unless the spout is wiped after each pour. It’s not a huge inconvenience but still notable. Overall this thing is so beautiful and affordable that I definitely recommend it for people who reach for oil often in their kitchen and who like great design.

Nice but very hard to fill without wasting oil....
This is perfectly fine for EVOO but it would be SO MUCH MORE useful if it wasn't curved. It's hard to hold and fill and there isn't even a sight window to help you know when you're almost at that top. I understand the need to protect EVOO from light but just a narrow see-through strip would be extremely helpful. Minimally this item should not be curved.

I gave one as a house warming gift. All the oil leaked out of it that night. A Big mess! I can not see any crack in the bottom but I was disappointed to hear they had to throw it away.

Leaks at tip of dispenser
I purchased at end of January 2022 and started using when I received in February as an olive oil dispenser for meal prep and salads. After pouring, oil remains at tip of outlet and hangs there, eventually dripping down bottle.Leaves oil on counter. Finally had to place plate with paper towel under it to catch this drip. Mouth of bottle needs to be a little wider to make transferring oil into it from larger container easier; otherwise, oil spills from mouth down container during transfer process.

opaque color and design of bottle make it difficult to gauge when the oil is going to start pouring out as well as harder to control amount vs clear vertical bottle. Not something we though about until after purchase. Does look pretty in kitchen though.
