A: There is no way to know the expiration without looking at the package or container. If there is a return policy, perhaps you can order it on spec, and return it if you feel the date is not appropriate for your needs. In my experience of Target, the drugs have sufficient dates. That is, I use up the drug long before the expiration date.

While cutting the tablet won’t negatively adversely impact the ingredients themselves, it does expose the active ingredients to a greater surface area, which will cause the tablet to degrade more quickly. Since there is no specific data supporting the practice of cutting the tablets, we generally do not recommend it. That said, individuals who have difficulty swallowing whole tablets may cut them and take the dose immediately.

The pills are kind of large so if you have issues swallowing pills, they probably won’t work for you. They don’t have any taste at all so that’s a positive too. And unlike some vitamins, they don’t smell either.
