Last lotion for me
After moving back up north from Florida last year I ran into some poison ivy, literally. It destroyed my skin and after the medication cleared it I still had blemishes and the other lotion I had irritated the damaged cells. Not with this, after less than 3 months of use my skin is returning to normal. The smell is awesome, the texture is perfect, it works and it's the last lotion I'll ever buy. Job VERY well done.😉

I wear this at night on my feet and then put fuzzy socks on. It's really great I love it. If the rest fo my body was dry I would use it everywhere but I only use it on my feet for now.

Bought to help with this dry desert winter, but the coco smell was so overpowering. I had to add like 5 different essential oils to tone down the smell. So i made it smell decent, but one of the ingredients in this lotion BHT is one that I try to avoid. So after I finish this jar, wont be repurchasing

Smell too overpowering
I just bought the Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Cream. I tried it for the first time and it really did work well for my dry skin, but the smell is too overpowering. It lingers for a very long time. The smell did seem nice at first, but after a while it became stronger and it was just too much for me to handle. The smell didn't fade with time which made me nauseous. I washed my hands but I could still smell it, even the next day. If not for the fragrance, the cream itself is good. I just can't handle the smell. I probably can't return it, so I will be throwing it in the trash. I've never felt that way about a product before. Others may have a good experience with this product, but not me. I am personally very disappointed with this Nivea product. I read the reviews before purchasing it and I saw several reviews that other people love it, which made me want to give it a try. I hope others continue having a better experience with it than I did. Thank you for listening.

SUPER MOISTURIZING
I was hesistant to buy this because I’m pretty sensitive to new scents (I wasn’t able to smell it before buying)(and I haven’t heard many people talking about it), but I needed a really good lotion for the winter and I couldn’t beat this price point for the large amount you get. I tried it as soon as I got home and was pleasantly surprised with the quality (not too greasy or thick, but VERY moisturizing). Also, it’s not unscented, there’s a slight sweet smell that’s really light and pleasant. Overally, I’m impressed, and this is definitely becoming a staple in my body care.

Not as thick as the original
Only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because I expected it to be thick like the original Nivea cream in the blue glass jar. I wanted to try this because I use the cocoa butter lotion in the bottle version and wanted the thickness of the original with the cocoa butter scent! The lotion itself is great but I’d rather stick to the bottle version and spare the few dollars.

Keeps my skin moisturized all day despite the dry climate.
I’ve lived in the desert for six years and I have struggled to keep mine and my family’s skin moisturized. However, this product has single-handedly resolved that issue. Works great for my son’s mild eczema too. I will never stop buying it as long as the formula doesn’t change. I wish there was a larger container for big families.
