The best gentle detergent
This is the only detergent we use at this point because it is our absolute favorite. We love there it is clear and has no dyes and is gentle, but it still fights stains and works wonders on my husband’s work uniform! And this easy pour spout makes my life so easy.

Directions for using marks on cap
Per directions for an extra large load fill the cap to below line 4, a large load below line C, and medium load to line B. Why do you also show line A, and lines 1 and 2? If they mean something put it in the directions. If they mean nothing, revise the label. Also, impress the indicator lines on the outside of the cap so it can be seen.

This really helped a family member who was experiencing skin irritation and itching. We'd tried two or three other brands that are dye free/fragrance free, but this is the only one that made a difference. Some clothing items had to be washed a couple of times to get rid of the residue from previous detergents, but ultimately the improvement was remarkable.

Detergent of Choice
We started using this years ago when are daughter got eczema. Both her father and I have had it, but detergent had been an issue. We made the switch and she's had no flare ups from clothing or this detergent. I know it's free of fragrance, and it may be the washer (all though it's brand new), but I wish it left clothes smelling like they've been cleaned. Not a “clean” fragrance, but just fresher than before it was washed. Not bad odors or anything, just a personal preference I guess.

Misleading "HE" Line
Measuring cap is misleading. The highest line is labeled “HE,” which makes it seem like that’s what you should use for an HE washer which is not accurate. They want you to use more and buy more often.

It doesn't make a lot of suds, question effectiveness, but i adapt
I use this because I want zero fragrances. However, the detergent seems not to make many suds. So, I always add a few drops of Palmolive original green liquid dish detergent along with it and run an extra rinse cycle. I question the effectiveness of this product because of how few suds, despite how much I dump in there. But it's a good price and I find Arm n Hammer, though less expensive, definitely ineffective.

Great for allergy sufferers!
I have allergies and this is great for products that I wear regularly. Sometimes the scent of other detergents can trigger my allergies. Free Clear doesn’t do that!
