  • A: hi! this product does not contain spf. each time you go for a swim, you'll find that you lose a little bit of color as your skin cells shed naturally in the water. you won't lose it totally if you ensure your skin is hydrated well before and after swimming! you can also top up your color each time you go swimming with a gradual tan like our just shut up and sun kiss me everyday glow lotion xx

    Eh

    Good color and price point, but had to stop using because it gave me contact dermatitis. It also came off very patchy for me and only lasted 3 days before it started to come off. So, not a total fail but definitely not for me.

    I would try again or even the darker shades

The color develops beautifully without turning orange, and it applies super easily with no streaks. The violet base really helps neutralize any yellow undertones. It also fades evenly and doesn’t leave behind weird patches or a bad smell. Definitely one of the easiest self-tanners I’ve used!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For my first tanning product. Not bad. I thought it would stick longer. The tan goes pretty quickly off the skin. Does dry fast. Its like a foam and you can gradually increase the color. It says to add more layers and keep it on for 6 hrs. Honestly I attempted it did not make much of a difference. It does not stain on clothes off my opinion. The scent is real light and smells good.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This goes on so smoothly and evenly. The mit really makes it user friendly. There is no stinky smell and it dries fairly quickly. I only left the tanning foam on for 45 minutes the first time, because I was nervous it wouldn’t look natural. It left a very slight tan. Next time I will leave on longer.

I’ve used the original one and it came out ok but as someone whose skin tone is an olive/golden undertone the original made my skin turn out a little more orange than I’d like. It definitely looked like fake tan but this, this was beautiful. Drying time wasn’t bad at all especially with a fan on and just like the original it’s buildable and only left on for an hour before you rinse it off. I really liked it and now will only use this one. If your in the market for a self tanner then I would definitely give this one a try.

    Very natural looking and easy to use

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how neutral toned and natural this tan is! It has a violent tint that balances out any orangeness - I guess it's similar to a triple toner for bleached hair, in color theory. I used tape on my arm to test how this tan will look before I committed to using it all over my body, you can see in the picture I attached . The pale underside of my skin, after the tan, blends seamlessly with the darker edges of my forearm and my darker bicep. It was super easy to blend using an application mitt. Once the product dries, while you're waiting for it to cure, tackiness is minimal and zero transfer. I was hoping to use this product to create a semi-permanent contour for my face as a base to make up, and I'm happy that I think this product is perfect. Other tanners are a little too orange, or they don't blend easily, or they just don't look natural. This Tanner is supernatural looking and easy to use!

    Best Self Tanner Yet!

    I am very fair and have damaged my skin from years of sun exposure. I have tried so many self-tanners and spray tans and always end up with an orange tint or just plain orang. Someone told me about Love at first tan and I was skeptical. I have tried it once leaving it on one hour after a quick exfoliating shower and the showered briefly afterwards. I woke up this morning with color and not orange! I used the mit and plan on using it again tonight for a little more color. I'm not looking for a dark tan, just some color. I must say after one use I give it 5 stars!
