The crib is praised for its ease of assembly, sturdy build, and attractive design. However, some guests experienced issues with chemical smells, damaged parts, and misleading advertising regarding the 4-in-1 conversion feature. Despite these concerns, many found it to be a good quality crib that fits well in various nursery themes.

Unforeseen hazard to babies
This is a beautiful bed that goes very well with almost every decor. However, there is a problem once your child can stand up and start chewing on the rails. They are taking the wood and the paint off and swallowing it. I think this is a hazard that needs to be dealt with.

Arrived Damage - company no help
The crib itself is beautiful and sturdy and I liked the idea of it being able to be converted, but it arrived with all of the key pieces damaged. My husband and I still put it together to have a crib ready but received no help from target other than stating we could return for exchange, which, I didn’t trust that the next one wouldn’t arrive damaged. When I contacted DaVinci, it took forever for them to identify my warranty, which I had, and they argued with me about only being able to replace two pieces because the five I wanted replaced made up the “key elements” of the crib (which, yeah, that was my problem with the extension damage) and wouldn’t consist of replacement pieces but would require a full exchange. So while this crib is beautiful, I’d maybe avoid DaVinci as a whole.

Despite the advertised certifications and "safer" chemical options of this crib, it came coated in a white dust film that is difficult to get rid of and has a strong paint smell several days after assembly. However, sturdy and otherwise as expected.

Chemical smell and cheap
HEAVY chemical smell. Not sure how this passes as green guard certified. My eyes also got irritated while assembling. I don’t feel comfortable letting my kiddo sleep in this.

Cheap quality !
Not a quality crib. It's not even made out of wood. The leg broke off so easily and you can see that the material is very cheap. Don't waste your money on this crib.

Strong Smell Despite Green Guard Certification
I took 2 stars off because the crib has a very strong smell despite having a low VOC Green Guard Certification. I am currently airing out the baby's room and will be sleeping in a different room until the smell disspates. Other than that, the crib is fairly easy to build, is very sturdy, and a beautiful addition to our home. Just be sure to air out the parts before or after building the crib!

I have enjoyed having this crib the past 8 months. it's fairly durable and very pretty. I'll note that when I leaned over in jeans though, the button indented the wood, so I wouldn't beat this thing up too much. One notable thing I don't like is that once you begin to lower the mattress, the screws for the higher positions are exposed. I didn't want to lose the screws so I tightened them very hard into the wood, but our baby can see and touch them so I'm worried they may come lose for the baby to swallow. I plan to keep an eye on them and perhaps remove them if I notice they loosen at all.

I loved this crib for such a long time, however my daughter just turned 18 months and since 16 months she gets her leg stuck between the bars. Her legs are all bruised from it
