    Not just for breakfast, a great afternoon snack or after dinner snack

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like Kellogs Raisin Bran, I have been eating it since I was a little kid, so around 50 years. I eat with milk or will grab a handful as a snack. It is made with sweetened raisins and toasted brand flakes that get soft when soaked with milk, so I like to eat my sidereal when its crisper. It comes in easy to open packaging that keeps it nice and fresh. You can smell the sweetness and freshness of Kellogs Raisin Bran, every time you open the box. I really enjoy it.

    Too much sugar!

That being said, wowza, this cereal has two different sweeteners in it….sugar and brown sugar syrup. Why?? One small cup of this cereal is 18% of your DV!! Crazy! Starting your morning out like this is awful for your health! Kelloggs promotes this cereal is high in fiber and heart healthy, but the sugar in it outweighs the benefits of either of those. I won’t be buying this product in the future. I’ll be eating protein, plain Greek yogurt, and fruit for a healthier breakfast!!

    Iron content changed NOT stated its been fortified

    We ate Raisin Bran for years but can no longer due to the change in iron content. It use to be like 7% and now it is 90%. My husband has hemochromatosis, a genetic condition that causes the body to absorb excessive amounts of iron, leading to potential organ damage. No where does it say on the box that the cereal has been fortified with iron. I had bought a box recently and just happened to look at the Nutrition Facts and it is a good thing I did as this could make my husband extremely sick! We will no longer purchase this item. Please update the box to indicate it has been fortified!

    Solid filling breakfast

High fiber bran and semi sweet raisins. Of you’re looking for one of those sweet cereals this isn’t it. It is on the healthier side and does keep you full for the morning. Good for me being a teacher that never gets a break. I’ve always said it l cereals would have resealable packaging maybe one day…

    Where's the Raisins!?

    First time I bought a box in about 5 years. Ok there's shrinkinflation, I'm ok with that to a degree. But for the first time ever I had a bowl of RasinBran and it had no raisins. What an utterly disappointing morning.

I eat mine with almond milk. It’s perfectly sweet without being sugary. No weird aftertaste or odor. I’ve eaten this for years and it’s always a nice treat to have. I will always go back to this cereal, it’s one of the greats.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kellogg’s Raisin Bran Original cereal tastes very good and is perfect for breakfast or a snack. The only drawback is the ingredients it contains sugar and brown sugar syrup. The added sugar is not needed to sweeten this cereal up that much especially since 1 cup has 9g of sugar. I know myself that I have more than 1 cup of cereal so that’s more than 9g of sugar. If there’s brown sugar syrup then there should be no need for sugar to be added as well. We’re in a day and age where foods contain so many added sugars and ingredients but more people are looking for healthier options. This cereal has minimal ingredients but adds unnecessary sugars.
