Safety 1st Large Nasal Aspirator

I am still in shock… only used it like 3 times and it broke on me today….

I used this for months until I discovered the nose Frida. Now if I'm being honest, the nose Frida blows this way out of the water, however I keep this in my diaper bag for on the go. This works great especially for newborns. I would buy again as a back up for the nose Frida!

Can't believe i spent so much money on and electric booger sucked when this one works wayyyyy better and it's cheap, you can't beat that. Our baby hates when we use it on them but hey it gets the job done plus it's easy to use and clean.

MOLD!!!! Used it maybe 4 times since taking out of the package and it is filled with black mold. I had heard this can happen, so I decided to cut it open and there was mold everywhere inside!!

One of the best nose aspirators I purchased so far (aside from my Nose Frida). This suctions similar to the aspirators you get when you are discharged after giving birth. They are sturdy and actually suction very well! This is really helpful right now that I’m sick and don’t have “power lungs”. For $5. You can’t beat that.

I purchased this to be included in a bag of gifts for the new baby because... well, who doesn't want their baby's nose booger free?!🤣 Every parent needs one of these!

The suction is really weak, I have to attempt multiple times on my little one to the point he gets frustrated. I use a saline spray prior to make it easier but the suction is very weak. The tip is slightly smaller than the ones given at the hospital.

I received the Safety 1st nasal aspirator trought the Stellar Product testing panel for my honest review. This is a good item to have and simple to use. Just need to squeeze it to get boggers out wich is my favorite feature . Simple , handy. Easy to use and small enough to put on diaper bag. The only thing I don't like about the product is that it doesn't come apart for cleaning wich for me is a must because it doesn't matter how much you cleaning I personally like looking inside to make sure is really clean or that water dried to avoid any mold forming inside.

This was the worst aspirator I've tried. It's so tough, it won't contract enough to get suction to clear the nose.

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product review panel. This review is my honest opinion. My fourteen month old daughter has been sick for what seems like a month, and she hates being stuffed, but she also hates having her nose suctioned. We had another product which you suck the snot out and it was a battle getting her to hold still and let me clear her out. With the Safety First Nasal Aspirator, I let her play with it for a little bit, carry it around, so she could get used to it. Finally when it came time to use it, we played a little game where I pressed it against her cheeks, her mouth, her arm, and did the same to me so she wouldn't mind it. Then I suctioned her nose and she handled it a lot better than the others, and boy did it work! I was able to get in there and clear out her nose, and helped her breathe a lot! We were very happy with the results, and cleaning was easy! Just cleaned it with fresh water and let it dry! This was a lifesaver when it came to her illness and it is now in our going to be part of our illness routine!!

I received the Safety 1st Nasal Aspirator through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I think it's a solid product. It is very easy to use, and I love that it is dishwasher safe. This makes for easy cleaning/sanitizing. The only reason I give it three stars instead of five is because I have concern about not being able to see the inside of the bulb. The instructions advise making sure the bulb is completely dry after cleaning, but there is no guaranteed way to do this. It would be great if the bulb was made of a material that was transparent so that one could easily tell if the inside was dry or not. However, for the purpose of helping to clear the nasal passage, it seems to work well and has good suction.

Just did this on my niece. After, I went to wash it out how instructed and dark pieces started coming out. I got worried and cut it open. There’s a bunch of mold inside!! It’s a bad design that doesn’t allow the inside to dry. Stay away!

This Nasal Aspirator came in very handy when using it on my sick infant! Infant nostrils are tiny and not all aspirations fit. (I had another brand aspirator that did not fit babys nostrils) This one does fit tho! It is very easy to use and clean. I recommend it for parents with newborns because it helps the baby breathe better and not have a stuff nose. Although I received this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel I will repurchase this to have an extra one when those sick days approach.

I was sent the Safety 1st Nasal Aspirator to try as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This product is very practical and also necessary, especially this time of year. However, the cleaning of the product is why I rated it as such. I will say it works very well, it cleared my son's nose the exact way it should, but when it came time to clean it, that was a different story. I followed directions on how to clean, but there was no way to dry it which left me feeling vulnerable to mold inside the bulb. I will say there are better, more sanitary options that I will seek out in the future.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this nasal aspirator, I was able to test the Safety 1st Nasal Aspirator. To start, I enjoyed the size of this aspirator. It was small enough to fit into all my travel totes, but big enough to not lose, and fit perfectly in my hand to get all the boogers out. My daughter was a little sick, and so I was able to use this aspirator to help her get the mucus out so she could breathe better. This was one of the easiest aspirators I have used, as my daughter wasn't avoiding it due to the softness of the material that it is made with. It's soft to the touch, and the size of the aspirator is perfect so that you never go inside too deep into your little's nostril. If I could change one thing though, it would be the color which is white, I think if it was a darker color it wouldn't look so worn out after a couple of uses. As a mom my fingers have sometimes leftover snacks, and who knows what else! However, the best part for me? Cleaning it out! Pushing the bulb a couple times got all the stuff out that was in there, making cleaning a breeze. Nothing stayed behind, making this aspirator one of the best bulb style aspirators i've ever had. I am so thankful I was able to try this out, and will definitely keep it handy the next time my daughter has a cold.
