Makes my scalp itch
I liked the color shade of the L’Oreal Magic Root Gray hair concealer. I also liked how easy it was to apply it. However, it made my scalp itch within a few hours of application. Therefore I do not recommend this product.

Great for small areas
I agree with other reviewers that this product is not for larger areas. I use AGEbeautiful’s Root Touch-Up for that. However, this is the best I’ve found for precision application. I use it for the baby hairs and roots around my face and at the front of my part. If you follow the directions and lift your hair as you’re applying it, it actually helps to give your hair “lift” instead of matting it down. Like all other temporary cover-up products, it will rub off on anything it comes in contact with, so you just need to be mindful. Also, when you first start using it, you need to twist for a while before the product will push through the bristles.

I don’t usually do a recipe unless it’s really bad or really good. And in this case I’m so pleased and impressed by this. I was skeptical at first especially from the reviews but yes. Yes! It works great and I used this along with the spray. The spray is very fast and strong so I used it for the top of my hair but used the concealer stick for the front and baby hairs. I didn’t trust using the strong spray near my face or eyes. It’s definitely great

Great for covering scattered grays!
This product if perfect if you just have a few scattered grays that you want covered. I wouldn’t recommend it for covering roots as it would take too long and use too much product. I love it for the purpose of using it to cover sporadic and patchy grays, and it lasts until the next shampoo.

What a Wonderful Product!
I love this product because my brown highlighted hair is greying in some spots, and I don't want to 100% cover up all the grey, but just some of it. (My salon colorist just wants to color all my grey hairs brown.). This brush lets me play around and experiment with where I want the darks/browns vs the grey or the highlights. It partially lasts through several washes which was a plus for me. I took off one star because the medium brown color is very dark, and you don't offer any lighter colors. I wish you had a light brown and a dark blonde shade too. I don't think any other company makes a product like this, a temporary color that doesn't need to be mixed and can be delicately applied.

Read before you buy
I like the coverage but I will not buy again. I bought this one and the older version. Unfortunately both were super tricky and messy. Both versions ruined my clothes and my floor and counter tops in my bathroom were full of color. Not sure why they failed to add a warning to cover everything prior to use. Please consider my review and buy something else. I ended up getting a Chinese color stick that works with less mess to clean up. Who has time for this!
