Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for Face and Body has a unique formula that provides 24-hour hydration and helps restore the protective skin barrier with three essential ceramides (1,3,6-II). The formula also contains hyaluronic acid to help retain skin's natural moisture. The moisturizing cream utilizes patented MVE controlled-release technology to help replenish ceramides and deliver long lasting moisturization. The moisturizing cream is non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and oil-free.

It absorbs into the skin pretty quickly, leaving my hands and face feeling soft and hydrated all day. The only downside is that because it’s so thick, it can feel a bit heavy if you’re layering it under makeup, but for night time use or on extra dry patches, it’s perfect. Not for All Skin Types
This is a miracle for most people; however, some (like myself) have skin too sensitive to tolerate it. It burns when applying and you wake up with dry/flaking skin. They recommend using a toner under it, but that kind of defeats the ease of just applying a moisturizer. And a drying toner seems counterintuitive.

Pump Does Not Work Well
The Moisturizing Cream is very nice. It leaves my skin very soft and supple. But the pump is frustrating because it doesn't really work beyond 10 uses. One has to swill the cream around to get it to come up through the pump, even though there is plenty of lotion in the tub. And then it is inevitable that the top of the package will have to be taken off to scoop the lotion out of the package with the pump stem, which is neither convenient nor sanitary. And, as I said, this is with PLENTY of product left in the tub; it's NOT because the tub is almost empty.

Babies bottom, but make it FACE
I have always loved CeraVe, their ingredients, their effectiveness, their philosophy! This moisturizer is like no other. The cream comes in a tub, which makes it easy to use on the go! This unscented cream is thick and luxurious. You do not need a lot, which makes it money well spent! Makes my face feel like a babies bottom!
