Synced with other Bose speakers
It synced well with my other Bose speakers. This is very important to me. Also, the Bose Portable Smart speaker has more mids than some of Bose other products. I like this. I prefer the flatter sound. There is still plenty of bass.

Great speaker, full sound
While I am sad that Bose was forcibly discontinuing my SoundTouch 20 portable speaker, this replacement is excellent. This speaker has a *lot* of sound, which is great for parties or picnics. Also love the Airplay + Bluetooth combo — I can use this speaker whereever I go

Good Replacement for SoundTouch.
I bought this speaker to replace my SoundTouch Speaker. Bose no longer supports the SoundTouch speaker so I needed to upgrade. The portable smart speaker is light and flexible for transport. It can be used anywhere. I like its sound quality.

Nice speaker, great sound for the size.
The Smart Speaker has been working well since purchasing. The it connected easily with my wifi but there was some initial issues in grouping other Bose Smart speakers together. After removing enhanced security from my home router the problem was solved and I was able to group the speakers. Once fully connected I could once again activate the enhanced security on my router without affecting the grouping feature. Other than that small issue, the speaker sounds great for the size. I have it on the optional charging stand making it easy to move around the house. It is a nice addition to my other Bose products.

Bose Portable smart speaker .
Search is slow and losses connection, pair function is always dropping out, Alexa function doesn’t always work. Sorry Bose some work is required with this product. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing two.

It SUCKS that much of the control is with the app!
Nice sound. Could be a bit stronger on the bass end. The battery life is FAR SHORTER than advertised.

While the speaker can last up to 12 hours when playing and up to 24 hours in standby mode, the rechargeable battery will drain slightly when the speaker is not in use, especially if Alexa or Google Assistant is connected, since the speaker continues listening for voice commands in standby mode. To conserve battery life, if you’re done listening and don’t need voice assistant functionality, press and hold the Power button for two seconds to fully power off the speaker. Please note that the speaker will not appear in the Bose app when it is fully powered off. Can't set up Google voice integration
Speaker sounds great. Battery life is disappointing compared the my previous Bose Revolve 2+ which this speaker is replacing. I guess the battery drains faster because the thing is always staying connected to wifi. I wouldn't mind as much if the wifi did anything, but I can't get the Google voice integration to set up. When the app asks me for my Bose Music email and password, I enter the right password, it tells me I entered.an invalid password, even though I just logged in to the Bose Music website using that exact email/password combination. Also, my previous Bose speaker turned itself off after my Spotify sleep timer turned my music off. This speaker stays on all night just draining battery. I love the sound quality, but not the other problems I am having.

Great sound but extremely buggy
I truly believe this is one of the best sounding portable speakers in its class, the sound is round, balanced, and perfect whether listening to classical or based up beats. However the bugs in this thing are so unacceptable - won’t turn off from stand by if you leave it idle for too long on the charging stand, battery life is bad. I’ve reset and returned and repurchased it multiple times, only because the sound is so good. But Bose do better the firmware bugs are seriously a joke - it’s not enough to just have good sound.

10 recommend
I purchased a speaker because a coworker of mine had an older model and it sounded at that time. Great. However, I purchased this upgraded model, and I am blown away by the sound. I use it for work and so many customers compliment, the sound, and the clarity from this speaker. I would purchase this speaker over and over again. This is a 1010. Recommend speaker. The battery lasts A good amount of time. I have had no issues with the performance or battery of this speaker.

Not so great experience
Bought this today and unable to configure it in the Bose app… it for the speaker, it keeps showing update in progress for ever… not possible to do any adjustment for this speaker. Unable to start the smart features

Great speaker
Using it home gym. I group it with my 500 smart speaker. Zero echo! That was a concern initially . Gret speaker, also amazed on longevity of charge!
