Great fan with a big flaw
The fans top bearing squeeks after 6 months of use and results in the fan having to be replaced because of safety concerns with the motor getting bogged down or stuck. Ive been through 4 of these fans, each ond fails the exact same way.

NOT OPERATIONAL OUT OF BOX
nope. should have been more mindful of other reviews. missing the remote and no fan operation out of the box. smelled of burning electronics (a sweet, headache inducing scent) and near the base grew hot almost immediately. packed it up and back it goes. save the packaging if you insist on purchasing this fan. vornado quality has been disappointing as of late. i purchased with older vornado products still operational in my home but will avoid their products in the future.

Vornado Oscilating Fan
I bought this fan for over $100 and it stopped working after 3 months. My receipt "expired" on September 28th, and it is Oct 5, and "customer service" denied my request for a refund. Target refuses to assist with a return of the item and told me to call the Vornado manufacturer. I do not want a replacement of this brand if it is going to be cheap and quit working after 3 months. I want my $106.75 back. This is an atrocious business practice and unfair to the customers who spend their hard earned money at this establishment, only for the expensice product to quit after a few months.

Great compact fans for smaller rooms
Honestly surprised by all the negative reviews for these fans. I now have three of them, two of which I've had for several years, and have not experienced any problems. It's true that they don't move a ton of air, but that's common for tower style designs so if you want a true air mover I'd get a box style fan. I keep mine on medium speed most of the time, which to me is the right balance between noise and air movement. They are definitely quiet enough for sleeping and the oscillation works great. On occasion they can make slight noises, but I've never had any issues with them losing efficiency like some reviewers mentioned. I'm 3/3 so far and very happy with this brand. Only downside is that they are on the pricey end of the spectrum.

Nice but not quiet
I am debating between 2-3 stars. Actually would be 5 if it weren't making a cracking noise on the two lower settings. This defeats the purpose of a qiet fan! I will be returning and possibly trying another model.

Great fan. Remote problem
I have enjoyed this fan for many years. It probably is out of warranty by now. The remote control is a great feature until the battery goes dead. I have tried various small screwdrivers I have but none have moved that screw on the remote.

DO NOT BUY
Didn't even have the fan a year and it started making this god awful squilling noise that wouldn't go away. I tried everything and nothing couldn't return it and the company ignored my complaints even though its supposed to have a 5 year warrenty.

Good not great
Moves A LOT of air but at about 1 year old it has developed an intermittent clicking sound while oscillating. It goes away after a few minutes but it comes back daily so I’m honestly not expecting to get another year out of it. Considering at its core it’s just a tower fan, I wouldn’t really say it’s worth it.

Squeaking noice
Bough this fan and lasted a day before it started squeaking, I’ve done everything to stop the squeaking but nothing works. DO NOT RECOMMEND, DO NOT BUY!

Pick a different one...
I’m not liking it too much. It’s not really a fan but rather an air mover?! If that makes sense. My daughters’ rooms get really warm and until we save enough money to have ceiling fans installed, I’ve opted for tower fans but they barely blows any cool air… it rather moves the existing air…. I suppose there’s a strategy to using this fan but I’m not up to figuring out what is needed to keep a room cool. They are however not noisy at all and do have a sleek look to them. I will be returning them though. It sucks because I know how good this brand is, however I got it on sale.

Noisy
I bought this at a big box store six weeks ago, and it worked great at first. In the past week, it has developed a progressively louder rattle every time I turn it on. Have played around with the speed and turning on/off the oscillating setting - but nothing makes it go away.

Returning immediately!
My fan did not come with a manual or screws, causing th base to be flimsy. My fan also did not come with a remote control, not sure if it was a manufacturer mistake or target. The first night I woke up in the middle of the night because the fan turned from the highest speed to the lowest making out room extremely hot and uncomfortable. The second night I kept experiencing the fan turning off within having it on for 5 minutes and was forced to keep it on the lowest setting. Really upsetting and frustrating having to lose sleep.
