Q: Glad I know about the pen, in the video I saw it said to brush again but, is it with toothpaste or do you just use water? I'm going to be a 1st time user btw. Cause, with brushing 2x it can burn your teeth sometimes.

The Colgate Optic White Overnight pen is easy to use and effective. I love that you don't need to leave it on for a certain amount of time and then remove it like traditional strips. The only downside is that it does leave a bit of a residue on your teeth, but the positive whitening effects outweigh that. Mint nice flavor.

My teeth are white, but as an older adult and daily coffee drinker, they are susceptible to staining between dental cleanings. With Colgate Optic White my teeth are brighter and I no longer get the surface staining. I’ll continue to use it.

I think this pen may have helped reduce the appearance of stains on my teeth, though I didn’t notice a dramatic brightness change - it could be a placebo effect. The whitening liquid dries into a flaky film that stays on overnight, which seems effective, but it’s not the most pleasant texture. Sometimes it gets stuck between my lips and gums, and in the morning, I have to scrape it off with my nails because brushing doesn’t always do the trick. Despite the weird residue, it might be worth a try if you’re curious about subtle whitening.

This design is terrible. While I liked the results and would have kept using it the brush tip separates immediately and then doesn’t straighten out so it stays frayed. Need a felt tip. Product was great.

I’ve been using the Colgate Optic White Overnight Pen for only 5 days and I can already see a noticeable difference in the whiteness of my teeth! There’s no weird taste, no mess, and best of all—no sensitivity, which can be an issue for me with whitening products. Super easy to use and I actually look forward to applying it before bed. The package I purchased had a brush, not a pen. A broad tipped pen would be much easier to use. Forget using the flimsy cardboard stand to hold the brush and container upright. After five nights I didn't notice any difference. Save your money and buy whitening strips.

I followed instructions while using this product & NO SENSITIVITY + dark coffee stains seemed lighter. Both were much appreciated Xmas gifts to friends who reported, “I’m told my teeth are visibly whiter! This is great!” & “My mouth feels healthier!” What’s better? Addition of Colgate LED whitening 10-minute light!

The application process is super easy and fast, and the product also has super fast results! I drink coffee everyday and multiple times a day so I have pretty bad staining. The pictures show before (I had already applied the product so it looks it little odd), after first use, and after second use and I already see a noticeable difference!

I could tell a difference after 1 use. When I put them on I had to get close to the mirror to see without my glasses. I could see my teeth had some yellow stains since it had been over 10 years since I last whitened them last. It took some learning curve to use it, I also didn’t see that it said to do 20 clicks to get it going so I had to reapply it a couple times. Keeping my teeth dry and not letting them get wet was hard. I didn’t feel like it was too filmy or crusty. Dried quickly. Woke up in the morning and used the optic whitening toothpaste, the one that had the most reviews and could tell a difference in natural lighting. I the pen did get crusty after using a tissue to clean it, so we’ll see how the next application goes. I would have preferred the pen one the twist cap versus the click. But I do like that. The bristles are able to get your whole teeth and in between your teeth as well. I don’t have any teeth sensitivity, which is why I didn’t want to use the whitening strips because they make my teeth super sensitive. But overall, I like this product and will definitely recommend.

I overall did like this whitening pen but it did not give me super white teeth. I used it pretty consistently for four weeks and did notice brighter teeth. I don't need them super white because I like my teeth to look natural so if you're looking for that look then this should work you. Also, I found this works best when used in conjunction with the mouthwash and toothpaste. My one gripe with this product is that it states it's a three week supply but I only got two weeks. I had to use two pens for the recommended three weeks to get the best results so i took off a star.
