Drybar Buttercup Blow-Dryer - Ulta Beauty: Hair Drying, All Hair Types, 1875 Watt, 3 Heat Settings

This product was gifted by Dry Bar. I started using this blow dryer 10 days ago. Since then I have recieved many compliments that my hair looks very healthy. I found this blow dryer to dry my hair quickly, without over heating it.

This product was gifted to me by Drybar in exchange for a review. I personally liked the hairdryer a lot but took it to my hairdresser to use on me at a recent appointment for a professional opinion. He evaluated it based on the air flow, weight, balance, and ease of use of the buttons. He gave an A+! And my hair turned out silky smooth due to the ionic technology.

I received this blow dryer about 3 weeks ago and have used it several times. I was impressed with how light weight it is and how quickly it dries my hair. It comes out frizz free and beautifully styled. This product has been gifted by Drybar.

I absolutely love this hair dryer! I've been using it for the last few weeks and get amazing results every time. It leaves my hair so silky and straight. It's super efficient and I don't find it to be loud at all. I'm also so lazy when it comes to styling my hair and I find it so easy to use with great pay out. I highly recommend! This product has been gifted by Drybar. This blow dryer is high powered and dries my hair quickly and leaves it looking smooth. The biggest downside for me is that it's a bit heavy especially after long periods of time, so I think it would be tiring to do a full blowout. I appreciated the attachments it came with but would have liked a diffuser attachment. I also wish it came in more color options. Overall, it's a powerful, high-quality dryer that works well, but I'm not sure it's worth the price for the average at-home user.

I've gone through six of these hairdryers, each lasting about 14–16 months before failing. While they were replaced under warranty, customer service now says this one won't be eligible if it dies—because replacements aren't covered. That tells me everything I need to know. If a company can't stand behind its own product, I won't either. Poor quality and even worse policy. Trust me keep looking because this hairdryer is junk.

Unbelievably loud. With the distraction of my Mom passing I didn't return it fast enough and now neither Ulta or Dry Bar will allow an exchange for a dryer with a reasonable noise level. Ulta later said they would help and then took the offer back.

The plug became insanely hot, couldn't even touch it! Stay away from this overpriced fire hazard!

Nice hairdryer - buttons are located on the handle which I sometimes press by accident when drying my hair. The speed setting on low is a good temperature for fine hair. The bright yellow color needs to change. Looks ugly on bathroom counter.

Something about tge technology in this blow dryer really calms down my frizz and flyaways unlike anythibg ive ever used before! It makes a bug difference for me!

I purchased this blow dryer over 5 years ago and it still works perfectly! I have very thick, wavy long hair and this blow dryer beats others I've tried. It does get very hot on the highest heat setting, however has multiple temperature settings so you can adjust to your preference. The only con I have is that the yellow coating gets scuffed easily, but it doesn't affect how the product functions!

Had it for about 8 years, worked fine, nothing special. I bought the separate diffuser attachment and it didnt hold onto the device very well—it would fall off constantly. I went to blow dry my hair as usual and the power toggle wouldn't switch off. Just broke randomly while using. I don't think it's worth the price and I don't think I'll spend this mich on a dryer again.

Don't buy this hair dryer! I had it for a little over a year and it completely stopped working. I tried to get a replacement but I do not have my original receipt. I went to the Ulta I bought it at and they said they could not find my receipt…not their fault! But the manager did let us know Drybar is the second most returned hair products (we saw one in the return bin while trying to figure this out). Called Drybar with no luck in getting a new one. Just save your time and money and stay away from Drybar!

Blow dryer is heavy and doesnt get hot at all just gets to a warm temperature and will definitely leave your hair frizzy if you dont put enough tention while drying your hair. I would rather spend my money on babybliss blowers

I have had my Buttercup for over 12 years and it is still working just as well as it did the day I bought it! It dries quickly and leaves my hair shiny. I love the cold shot! The price hasn't gone up, I'm surprised! This has lasted so much better than the dryer set I paid 599 for that didn't last a year! I love, love, love my Buttercup!

I love this. This is actually my second one. The first one still works but this was on such an incredible sale, I decided to go ahead and buy another one just incase.

I went through 3 of these. one was a replacement after 1 week. they spark and become very dangerous. Not worth the money.
