When food is finished frying, hook the basket over the oil tank to easily drain excess oil from food without making a mess. Silver, black handle easy vented lid, and handles on each side. I like the model with the preset temperature feature and the basket. However, I dislike because the unit on the outside be hot, do not touch, and getting the basket handle on when pulling food out to drain is somewhat hot too. Overall I like my deep fryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been having fun cooking with this deep fryer, I made fried chicken, pork and of course fries, they come perfectly cooked, extremely delicious, fresh and crispy. I like that this fryer is easy to assemble and put it apart, basically all the parts are washables, except of course the heating (electrical) part. I was afraid of using this type of appliances at home before, because I have a kid, but I feel safe to use it since it does not leak or have oil spilling all over. The only cons I find from this deep fryer is that the cord is very short.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Deep Fryer is AWESOME! There are so many great features to this appliance that I love. Starting with the see through window that helps me see how well done my food is getting. To the cover over the top to keep the oil securely in the fryer without the spitting or splashing up. I love the large size of the basket with the metal lip to be able to easily hook on the side to drain out the excess oil from the foods that I’m frying. The temperature dial makes it so simple to set for the temperature that I want to fry on depending the food that I’m cooking. For example if I’m frying chicken the temperature would be higher then if I’m making homemade donuts in it. The Hamilton Beach Deep Fryer has really helped me to make wonderful meals just like if I’m buying them at the beach from donuts to French fries that taste like they’re from a boardwalk stand. I would definitely recommend this product for all of the foods you want to fry. My husband’s favorites jalapeño poppers and fried mozzarella sticks he says, “taste even better then at a restaurant.” Thanks Hamilton Beach!

It’s easy to use and clean. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Super easy to set up, and the instructions to learn to use it were great. I can fry anything from mini apple pies to chicken legs and it is perfect every time! Definitely a great product to have.
