Fine seat but quality vs 35 is much less.
I have the 35 and bought the 30 for our 2nd car since the 35 was sold out. It’s a perfectly fine seat and glad it fits also into the other car seat base, but was very thrown off by how much lower quality the material is and especially the hood, vs. the 35.

1/10 ! It's heavy , does not click onto shopping carts , and gets stuck in the base !

Great carseat
Newborn insert seems very comfy for baby and holds him and his head in secure. Very easy to click into the base and take out of the car. Even if crying or upset when he’s buckled in he’s asleep within five minutes of driving. Part of that is from the motion of the car, but part of it has to be from the comfort of the seat.

Manufacturer Defective handle
please be warned! this carsear grippy handle melts then becomes very sticky in car. manufacturer is unwilling to do anything with the defective carseat. This was a sad day for us. we were told to duct tape the handle and discontinue using the car seat in two years once expired.

Not good for 3 across
If you're planning to use this for 3 car seats across the 2nd row, with this behind the driver or passenger seats, it will most likely not work. I was not able to get this seat to stay secure unless it's dead center on the seat. Even if it's slightly off-center the seat will slide around too much. The Clek Liing is what I ended up using -- that one will stay put even off-center.

If you have a big baby go with something else
This car seat was great for our little one, very easy installation, convenient and comfortable for the baby. As our little one approaches 8 months he’s already too big for it granted he is 31in and this car seat does state that it goes up to 30in rear facing it is inconvenient for us to have to get another car seat since we prefer to have him rear facing due to him being so young. Overall a great product, I do wish he could’ve stayed in it longer other than that no complaints.

Thank you for sharing. While your son may have out grown his infant car seat he can remain rear facing in a convertible or all-in-one car seat, typically up to 40 pounds. Very nice..just one little thing
Soft and comfy! Light and well-made, but to adjust the straps you have to flip the carseat and wrestle with the clips to release the straps and rethread them to adjust for height. I have had carseats in years past that do that, and this was thevmost challenging to unhook. Graco has a great one- hand system. I wish chicco did since the seat is such a high price.

Secure & Easy
I have a base in my car, my husband has one for his and we just bought a 3rd base for my MIL who is watching little one during the day. It's been so easy for all three of us to navigate travel with our little one whether it be by car or stroller. We are so pleased with how secure and easy it's been while using the KeyFit 30 ClearTex Infant Car Seat. My little one hates the sun so the canopy extension has been a blessing! This is a great, quality car seat system.

Convenient and safe
