I have purchased them on vacation got home, two weeks later went to the store to return them. Never opened, never touched and apparently Apple has a special return policy that it only gives two weeks to return. If that's the case, it should warned me when I was placing the order. Bad customer service!

Not sure about the product yet but I would not purchase from Target again. My son bought these and returned the same day because they did not work. He then repurchased. He never got his money back for the return of the original product. Target said they gave him the credit and it’s no longer a store issue. Customer relations said they gave him the credit. Our bank said they have no credit and cannot dispute the charge since it was on a debit card. Consumer relations said they already gave him the refund and there’s nothing more they can do. So now my son is stuck paying double for this item. Lesson learned. DO NOT BUY FROM TARGET AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barely had these headphones for 2 months and they no longer connect to my IPhone. I started off with 1 headphone now it’s both. I tried to reset but now they don’t even pop up anymore. Apple products are too expensive to not even last 6 months. The sound quality was good but what is sound quality if you can’t hear what your listening too because the headphones don’t connect.

Apple products self life has gone down. Purchased these in May 2025 and already needs to be taken to the Apple Store due to a software defect which interrupts its ability to pair to any device. I’d highly advise you to get a protection plan on these.

These are the worst headphones I have ever used. The noise cancellation feature makes me nauseous and the sound quality is terrible! When you’re using them for phone calls, people on the other end say it sounds like you’re in an aquarium. I’ve tried using the different noise cancellation settings and nothing seems to help the situation. I wanted to return them but the window was only 14 days from purchase. I can’t believe Apple made such a horrendous product.

I have been using the gen 2 AirPods for those times when I need to be able to hear what's going on around me. They're decent for listening to music, but not great. After the price for the AirPods 4 was recently lowered, I jumped on a deal and purchased them (with ANC) hoping that they would offer a better listening experience while still being transparent enough for me to remain aware of my surroundings. They definitely produce better base and have a fuller sound overall. They're not on par with a good pair of in-ear earbuds, but that’s due to their open design. The ANC is effective, depending on the type of noise you are dealing with. Not sure ANC is necessary though since the reason many people buy open-ear earbuds is to be able to hear what's taking place around them. Some ambient noise should be expected, but to each their own. My biggest concern was how well they would fit, having tried the AirPods 3 which turned out to be too bulky for my ears. Happily, the 4's do fit my ears quite well. I haven’t had any problems with them falling out. There are many other good open-ear earbuds out there to choose from, but at the reduced price and given how well they work within the Apple ecosystem, I had to go with the Airpods 4. They are a nice upgrade to the AirPods 2.
