All of her recipes are astounding. She also gives instructions on how to do basic techniques all the way to advanced. Any home cook can easily follow her recipes. Beautiful photography and well tested recipes.

I’m a fan of CS’s Dessert Person and this book has similar elements (e.g., the glossary is thoughtfully laid out by difficulty, type of dessert, etc.). I pre-ordered two (2) books and they came 1 day after the book release date. It’s not a big deal for me but if other’s are anticipating launch-date titles, you may consider something other than Target. Again not a deal breaker for me. CS books make great gifts for any baker!

It's such a gorgeous book. Glossy pages are an added bonus. This is an easier book than her first. More simple and basic yet different and delicious recipes.
