    Performed well, with a couple exceptions

This product lost a star as it stains skin very easily and quite badly (a little ash & water rubbed on stained skin does take it right off) and it is a little darker than expected.     Great results, need more!

I missed a few because I didn’t have enough product but what I can use turned out great. It’s a pretty colour, I have copper hair and I got a medium, darker brown coverage. The smell is not overwhelming either and mixing the product was really easy! I hope it lasts long but I don’t mind retouching every 3 months with this product, I would definitely buy Garnier hair colour again and would recommend to a friend!     Easy prodcut with great results

It has small amount of product, perfect for retouching purpose, which is great if you like doing touch ups every 2 weeks or so.     Works great at covering grey/white

    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’m at the point in my life where my hair at the temples is turning white, so trying Garnier color sensation in soft black was put to the test. You do get the developer cream, as well as the color cream, instructions, and a pair of gloves in a small packet. I highly suggest getting a mixing bowl with a brush and dispensing both creams into the bowl, just so it makes the application process a bit easier. I like the fact that there’s no ammonia, therefore no overwhelming fragrance. Now, it does say to leave it on for 10 minutes, however I left it on for roughly about 22 minutes. I only applied this to my roots, as well as along the temples, because that is where I have the most white peeking through. This was easy to wash off. I used a color-safe shampoo and conditioner afterward in the shower, and I’m pleased to say that this actually did cover 100%.     My regular brown but better

    No applicator

You had to use your fingers. It's just too messy when you can just do the same thing with your regular dye for root coverage. Covers well but mostly just not worth it.
