Broke in less than a year.
Loved these but the case broke after less than a year. I had a silicone case to protect the case itself and they were well looked after. First the screen stopped responding and now the earbuds themselves will not charge even though the case is fully charged. Absolutely ridiculous considering how expensive these were. Would not buy again and I'm actually tempted to not bother with JBL earbuds in general now.

Small, comfortable, not good for calls
The JBL Live Buds 3 offer good sound quality once equalised, handling a wide range of music well, and their small, lightweight design makes them comfortable without pressing on the lower concha. However, the fit is only moderately secure due to a short nozzle, and noise cancellation is average, with wind and microphone performance not great. Controls are sensitive but lack useful customisation, including a slow mute function that requires a 3 second hold to activate and deactivate. Occasionally my phone switched from other bluetooth headphones I was wearing to these while they were still in their closed case, which was odd and annoying. The large case with a built-in screen feels more like a gimmick than a benefit, adding bulk and causing accidental inputs. Overall, they are enjoyable for casual listening but fall short for call-focused use, and the case is a definite drawback.

Touchscreen Case Causes Serious Issues
DO NOT BUY THESE EARBUDS This product poses a risk of hearing damage. The touchscreen case activates itself inside my pocket. While listening to music, it unexpectedly triggered the “Find My Buds” feature, producing a very loud, high-pitched sound directly into my ear. The sound level was sudden and painful, which is concerning from a hearing-safety perspective. There is no option to fully disable the touchscreen, making unintended activation unavoidable. Separately, ambient mode and noise cancelling randomly switch on and off during use, which makes the product unreliable and frustrating in normal conditions. I strongly recommend avoiding earbuds with a touchscreen case and choosing a model without this design.

STOLEN EARBUDS!!
My mom got me these about 4 months ago and I left them by my bag one to play play some ball and someone stole it. For the most part they were very good, a had no problems with them before but I'm very sad that they are gone now. :(

Horrendous Product!!!
I am on my second pair in two years and I can say these are the worst earbuds I’ve ever tried. I cannot get them to pair no matter what I do. JBL already swapped out one pair saying there was an issue with the case but I’m having the same problem with these now that I’ve upgraded phones. The button on the case DOES NOT put these into pairing mode. I am a diehard JBL fan (car stereo fully equipped, two JBL Boomboxes, and four JBL Go speakers) but I will never again own earbuds made by JBL. Absolute nightmare!

Thank you for your feedback. The button on our JBL Live Beam 3 case locks/unlocks the screen. For first-time use, hold the button for 2 seconds or charge the case for 5 seconds. Hold it for 10+ seconds to reset the case. Opening the lid automatically triggers pairing mode. Your device should then detect the earbuds in its Bluetooth list. Good earbuds but
I bought these a few months ago love the sound quality the case is cool getting to put a digital wallpaper on it see your battery percentage was the real reason I chose this because I want to know when to charge , however the case itself for me anyways seems a little flawed sometimes it doesn’t register me putting the earbuds back in so I will answer a call and have no voice because low and behold my earbuds I used last night are still on and connected That unfortunately effects my ability to charge them sometimes too Otherwise a great product I highly recommend the brand great sound quality the noise cancel ruin is top of the line with both buds in you can’t hear anything else

Absolute crap. If they are not in their case they will connect to phone cutting off calls. No way to stop it. They are going in the bin

Very Mid. Wouldn't buy again
Purchased this and enjoyed it. But it lasted less than 12 months before the left started popping and not fully connecting, cutting in and out with very light movement. Doesn't always go back to noise cancelling from quick taps, had to keep unlocking the case and doing it from that, a nuisance. They are also fairly bulky as buds go.

Some good features, unreliable
Bought about 5 weeks ago, sounds quality decent, fit was ok, generally was enjoying the product and i use headphones for at least 3 hours a day, had to return first set after 3 weeks as right headphone would not charge in the case on about every 3rd occasion. Took them back to store and was given a new set and now another couple of weeks on the new set has started doing the same,ive tried cleaning them every time after use (wipe down with microfibre cloth (case included) taking the ubber earpiece off (does help most of the time but not every time) i may be doing something wrong but if thats the case i was lied to in assuming i could put them in the case and they would charge (even with the charger plugged into the case or case fresh off fully charging) not a bad product but also wishing I could go back and buy a different set as its terrible listening with just the one earbud in because the other is flat.

Noise canceling doesn't work
Noise canceling is a joke. I work in a fab shop and have the ambient sound off but when ever I use my grinders it literally make them louder and I have to turn off my music. Also they love to just randomly pause my music. Not worth the money!

Awful
I bought these a little over a month ago and I love the sound quality. But with said, terrible random connectivity. The right ear bud randomly connects to the phone after being off in case for hours. Runs battery down in that single ear bud rendering it not usable when you really want it until charged. Also runs the case battery down. Would not recommend. Constantly disappointed when starting workout at gym in morning.

Not worth the money
Very average for the price. The case is great when it works. The sound on mine cracks regularly and not while they are cranked up. It also always spunds like im in a big hall of echos. When watching a movie. Its deep rich sound but on some aps (Netflix) its so quiet I can hardly hear it. Ive triad all sorts of different setting to help with that but still disappointing. They look great and feel great but as a person who has several different sets of earbuds etc and who listens for many hours a day, these are just not the ones!!!

Bought this 2 weeks ago- the noice cancellation is very basic audio is flat the earphones start hurting if worn more than 30min battery life on ANC <5hrs The EQ settings are horrible The talk through feature just randomly turnns itself on even when you are not talking - causing interruptions to your music The Bluetooth just disconnects a few times just on its own Dont even get me started on the APP- It is very difficult to connnect it to the app and once connected to the app it will a lot of time fail to reconnect/ sync with the earpods and might just connct with a random pair of headphones and earphones The touch screen gets activated while in pocket and causes a lot of issues Not worth the price at all

Sound fades in and out.
Worked great for about 5 months and then the sound started to fade in and out of both ear buds. I have no idea what caused it but for the price i paid these should work for years with no issue.

Thanks for your feedback. Bluetooth will perform well for up to 30 feet. However, walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede that 30-foot range. If it works well at 10 feet or less, it is likely that there is something interfering with your wireless Bluetooth signal, causing these dropouts. Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help isolate the issue with your JBL Live Beam 3. First, we need to determine if the problem is in the device or the earbuds. Try to connect the earbuds to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. Next is reset, with both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times, and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the earbuds in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If the issue remains, please contact us.

The Worst product ever
Bought this product on 14th Sep 2024, I started facing a lot of connectivity issues which was intermittently fixed by the software patches but it would lead to a different issue. after 8 months of limited usage the charging case is not able to retain charge and gets completely discharged with 12 hr span (with zero usage). Complete waste of money, I would prefer Sony any day, it was dumb of me to go for JBL. I own two different models of Sony which are older than JBL but still works perfect. Thanks to JBL for giving us this worst product....
