The Chicco MyFit® ClearTex® Harness + Booster Car Seat is designed to grow with children from toddler through big kid with easy transition from forward-facing five-point harness to booster mode. Nine headrest positions accommodate growth throughout both modes and work together with a four-position recline to support proper posture. An extra-deep ErgoBoost® seat with dual-density foam padding is ergonomically designed for superior comfort. Featuring ClearTex® flame retardant-free materials, MyFit® ClearTex® is GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions, contributing to healthier air quality around your child.

With its slim design and space-saving features, MyFit® ClearTex® fits three-across in the backseat without compromising child (or passenger) comfort. The two CupFolders™ conveniently fold in when not in use to maximize space.

MyFit® ClearTex® includes a steel-reinforced shell and sculpted EPP energy-managing foam.

Featuring Advanced Side Impact Protection (ASIP), MyFit® ClearTex® is engineered to meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS 213a – Side Impact.

Easiest to Install

The MyFit® ClearTex® is designed with smart functionality that makes it the easiest to install simply, accurately and securely. The zipper located on the seat pad provides easy access for installation and transitioning between modes. A four-position ReclineSure™ leveling system and RideRight™ bubble levels help achieve and verify proper angle in the vehicle seat. Premium LATCH connectors and a LockSure® seat belt locking system with wide routing facilitate a secure installation with LATCH or the vehicle seat belt.

User-Friendly Touch Points

A padded, no-rethread harness with a one-pull tightener provides reassuring security for growing toddlers. The harness can be stored to create a belt-positioning booster with shoulder and lap belt guides for big kids four years and up.

Q: My child is 3.5 years old and is 45.5 inches tall and 62lbs if he is 65 pounds by the time he is 4, will he then be in the seatbelt mode or still in a harness?

  • A: he would have to be in seat belt high back booster mode since he would be reaching the max weight for the harness. 65 lbs. 54 inches tall and 65 lbs is the max for the harness.

Q: If my child hits the minimum weight requirement but is 36" instead of 38", can they still use this carseat in harness mode? Is the minimum of 38" specifically for booster or is it for the harness too?

ONLY use this Child Restraint if the child meets BOTH of the following Weight and Height requirements: Weight is between 26.5 and 65 pounds (12 and 29.5 kg) and Height is 54 inches (137 cm) tall or less. The MyFit car seat in Booster Mode is designed for children who are at least 4 years old. ONLY use this Child Restraint if the child meets ALL of the following requirements: Weight is between 40 and 100 pounds (18 and 45.3 kg), Height is between 44 to 57 inches (112 - 145 cm), and Demonstrates an ability to sit relatively still and properly in a seat belt at all times.

Very happy with it!

I needed something with a higher harness height for my 6 yr old that had a very long torso and had outgrown her regular convertible seat. She’s not quite ready for a booster and I still wanted her in a harness. We have always used another popular brand for all of our kids, but after reading reviews for this seat and the fact that the harness height is 2” higher than most other brands, it was a yes from me! Installation was easy, she seems very comfortable and the seat quality is great. I will say it’s very heavy, but in a car seat I would rather that than something light and cheap feeling. Would definitely buy it again!

Love our new Booster

I decided to try Chicco when I needed a bigger booster seat for my 4-year-old son, who is about 46” tall. I’ve always used Graco in the past, but he outgrew the one we had. I chose Chicco because of its reliability, and I love that this seat should last him through another growth spurt. The crotch buckle is easy to adjust, and the seat was super simple to install in my SUV. I also appreciate that the outer cover zips off, making it quick and easy to remove for washing. My son’s favorite features are the armrests and the double cup holders. Thank you, Target and Chicco!

MUST BUY

Originally ordered this car seat because my daughter naps ALOT in the car and her head would always fall forward and made her uncomfortable but this car seat has been an absolute game changer in our car rides. It reclines back far enough her head does not fall anymore and it stays in place.. 10/10 would recommend for toddlers. It has put my mama heart at ease and I’m beyond thankful for that!

Didnt arrive!

I didn’t receive it! 1 star because I can’t put 0! Target as the seller is refusing to take accountability for the fact that I didn’t receive what I paid for and refusing to address the issue with the carrier for their mistake! The picture of delivery doesn’t have my address on it and clearly shows that it was not delivered to me, but because it’s a random picture it’s claimed as delivered! I’m told by the lazy online guest relations that I should file a police report! Well that won’t get my money back! Why can’t they report this to the carrier?! I still have to go purchase this product from another store since they refuse to replace it, I refuse to purchase from Target again unless I’m given a refund! Beware that purchasing from Target online doesn’t secure that the product will be received, and be ready to lose out on the amount paid!

Good overall

Wanted something my 7 year old would feel comfortable in . Returned our Nuna for this one. Good choice. Love the five points belt. Like that the cup holders aren’t sticking out on the other seats. Also like that the arms aren’t too inward to the car seat.

Chicco toddler carseat

I bought two of these. I loved them at first but the seat belt clips are hard to get to and the most frustrating part is the cups pop off and bend, so you can’t put them back on.
