Description
Take over the world in this game of strategic conquest! In the Risk board game, the goal is simple: players aim to conquer their enemies’ territories by building an army, moving their troops in, and engaging in battle. Depending on the roll of the dice, a player will either defeat the enemy or be defeated. Defeat all of the enemy troops in a territory to conquer that territory and get one step closer to global conquest! This exciting strategy game is filled with betrayal, alliances, and surprise attacks. On the battlefield, anything goes! It also features 4 ways to play, including Secret Mission Risk. The player who completes their secret mission first -- and reveals the Secret Mission card to prove it -- wins. When done playing, place the armies and dice in the 5 war crates for easy storage. The item ordered came to the house fairly quickly. So that is a good feature. However, box was severly damaged as if it had been in a football game. The sides were damaged and the tape holding the top together was barely attached. The box was way to big for the contents. No need for a return, but better care of the boxes would be helpful.

Good long game
Good quality game. Each color of pieces comes in its own box to keep them in, nice big playing board. Well worth the price unlike some other games out there. First time playing was a little confusing but videos on YouTube helped. (We only played with 2 players) I liked having a game that lasted longer then 30 minutes.

I had never actually played this game before buying it, but it is great fun. I have 8- and 5-year-old boys who love getting into my Axis and Allies board game, which far too advanced for them. I bought Risk because I figured it is a good intro into the strategy-type board games. They both love it and have a pretty good understanding of the rules, though I find it necessary to moderate whenever they play. My wife, who initially thought it was way to difficult and wasn't really into it, started loving it after about thirty minutes in. The dice battles are really exciting. Note that this game takes a while to finish, so don't start within about two hours of bedtime. Otherwise, buy it!
