Q: Does this work for mineral sunscreens that tend to be a little thicker?

  • A: Hi, apologies for the delay. I did reply but for some reason it didn’t upload. Yes, mineral sunscreens can be used but in some instances may need a bit of help reaching the roller ball. Applicator fell apart

I was in love with this item when I first started using it on my squirmy 2 year old. Then the foam part of the applicator completely came off after using this for less than 6 months. I tried to superglue it back on but that didn’t work. Still usable if you rub in yourself, but not as gentle on my toddler’s skin.

Helpful tool for applying sunscreen to a chil

Glad solar Buddies is now at target, have been using since 2022 got it in the official website. Works well for my son and he doesn’t complain (is not necessary) but easy when you have children because they complain to apply sunscreen all the times, not just in the summer. Well a couple of weeks ago have to purchase another one because couldn’t find my old one, though lost it at the water park. It works the same and do the purpose we even use it for us, works wonders. Little tip: after storing it we have to move the little ball because it gets stuck on one side, that way it easy to apply and the ball runs for a good application.

Does not work as it should

I love the idea of this, but this item does not work as described. It does not dispense enough sunscreen to adequately cover skin and when it does dispense some, it comes out unevenly. It takes a lot longer to apply with this than it would by using my hands.

A Lifesaver!

We have used this product for our toddler for the past two summers and can't imagine wrangling and applying sunscreen without it. It is so easy to use and toddler can actually kind of manage to use it herself without getting sunscreen everywhere. It's super convenient to bring along, and love that it saves my hands from getting sticky.

I've Been Waiting for this!

I have been seeing this item all over TikTok and have been waiting to buy it at Target - thank you!!!! This is a genius product and I will use it all summer. Don't be fooled by the knock off items - they are terrible compared to the REAL THING. This will be my go to gift this summer for all my friends.
