Great to receive a product that performs beyond my expectations. Smoothies are smoother and sauces are saucier. Great product.

I know how to make smoothies. I read the manual inside and out. But this was the biggest waste of money ever. It doesn't even do its one function: blend. I order it in right, I use the tamper, I add a crapload of liquid, I stop and stir, I turn up the speed. I try everything. It just won't blend the fruit! I had the most jankiest and old ninja blender that did 10x better than this. Don't waste your money.

Best blender out there. Smooth purées in seconds. I’ve used it for smoothies, soups, and baby food.

i am thrilled to have finally returned to the Vitamix family. I had one decades ago, and with moving so much, i left it behind. Now after trying so many other brands, I gave up and bought another Vitamix. I am in love again! Thank you for being such a great product!!!!

What an amazing appliance! Made Hollandaise for Christmas Eggs Benedict Brunch. Having healthy smoothies every morning. If you are on the fence, just do it.

The 48 oz container doesn't fit great on the base. You barely touch it and it lifts off damaging the rotary at the base. After a month of it regularly doing this, I'm returning it for one of the models that has the 64 oz option

I had been waiting close to two years to buy my first vitamix. I was very excited about it. I tried it tonight and it really disappointed me. The lid seems to not close properly and everything spills out. I filled it up to the “Max” and then proceeded to remove liquid until I was left with half filled of the blender cup. Is there a reason why this happened? I checked if I properly closed it, and tried different ways. Nothing seemed to work.

This is my first Vitamix and it’s powerful. Love it!

I got it for soups for the winter, and it blew me away. Ten seconds is all you need to get thick, awesome vegan soup. I've been using it for protein shakes, too, and it catches the Chia seeds! Hummus? No problem. Love this thing.

I previously had a Ninja, and it worked fine. But then I purchased the E310 = mind blown. This blender goes above and beyond my expectations. It mulches wet, dry, ice, in seconds. No lumps, or pockets of protein powder. It is literally my best purchase this year.

tl;dr --- Pros: (1) Top-loading design prevents leaks from ruining the motor. (2) It features simple, durable analog controls. (3) It's quieter than bullet-style blenders at low speeds. Cons: (1) It still become noisy at higher speeds. --- To start, I find that this product blends sufficiently well. But I think performance should be a given for a blender sold at this price. So my reasons behind this positive review have more to do with the product's design than performance. I recommend this product over any blender where the blade assembly is at the bottom. With those bottom-blade blenders, gravity works against you: eventually, a leak occurs, drips down into the motor base, and ruins the appliance because you can't clean the electrical components safely. In that regard, this blender’s design is superior. Because the lid is at the top, if a leak were to happen (usually because the lid isn't locked tight), it'll spill over the container in the worst-case scenario, but it won't immediately spill into the motor. It's a much safer bet for longevity. Another design feature that I like is its analog control panel. Analog dials are generally more reliable, easier to fix, and don't glitch out like touchscreens can. For my daily use—mixing liquids with one or two solid ingredients—it does the job perfectly without overcomplicating things. The product is also significantly quieter than my old Nutribullet. But I can't give five stars because it still gets quite loud once you go past the speed setting of 4 (with the highest being 10).

Love this blender, performs so much better than our last machine. Great for smoothies, pureeing, cleans up well. Using the dough hook on bread, it jumped around and we had to adjust the head screw to get the lock to hold. Otherwise, just about perfect.

No matter how much liquid I add first, it jams up as soon as I add a few frozen strawberries - even if I try to sneak up on it and just add 2 or 3 at a time. Not nearly as strong as the KitchenAid I just replaced.

I bought this for blending food for my tube feed child. It’s perfect and very powerful. Gets the blend right he every time!

Quality at a good price. We make smoothies daily with it that includes carrots and lemons. Only shortfall is the container pouring opening causes dripping on counter after pouring. Small but impactful shortcoming.
