Cute but just not worth it

Cute microwave but definitely has some issues. First of all, the child lock is automatically engaged. Every time your power goes out etc, you're going to have to reset it to turn it off. Biggest issue? This microwave died on me less than a year after purchase. Trying to get Faberware to honor the lifetime warranty has proven to be pretty difficult. Just keep looking.

Too many issues

We bought this countertop microwave online based on its dimensions, power, and because it was offered in several colors. The door handle also seemed a nice feature. Our first disappointment was the child-safety lock on the door. Even with the sticker that gave instructions on how to disable this "feature", the lock was always active. The next disappointment was the lack of power in this oven. It's rated at 1000W, but when we compared it to a smaller 600W oven by boiling one cup of water, it was only a few seconds faster. The final straw was the keypad, it is low-quality, unresponsive, and lacks common functions like a "time cook" button.

Wrong size as noted on picture

The photo is calling out a 17.5" wide oven when it is 3" wider than that. 20.5" wide. Disapointed paid extra thinking it was smaller could have bought other 20.5" ovens for less $$. You need to press the slection buttons really hard for them to work.
