I was looking for a dark, very dark purple - like the picture on the box depicts. It came out this orangey, pinky, red. I hate it and am immediately going out to buy a different brand to try to cover up this heinous color.

I did my test strand the night before today. It turned out great. I did my hair today and it was spotted all over my hair- I saturated it during color on my virgin hair coloring. I got blond spots- i put it on my entire head and ended up with spots. Help please

Worked on light brown hair
The LC3 one worked great for me with light brown/dark blonde hair with grays. I’m not sure what it would do for the dark brown on the box, but it worked for me and came out a pretty, warm honey blonde. Looks soft, natural, and my hair feels soft too. Glad it didn’t turn orange like I was worried. It might. I’m not really sure my hair color (I was blonde as kid, but went darker as adult). Some call it mousy brown, some dirty blonde, but it’s definitely not the “before” color on the box. Either way, it lightened it just how I wanted. I like how the dye catches onto all the different strands, so my grays give it dimension and highlights.

My first wash after the coloring, my hair turned light brown and my grays have turned blonde. This has never happened before after dying my hair using other brands. As I used the same shampooing/conditioning products.

Long lasting & no transfer stains!
I'm really impressed with this product. I used to use manic panic and the blue would get on everything for days to weeks. This doesn't transfer on to anything except the towel I wrap my hair in after using it. I used it for the first time back in August and I just recently used it again in November. New product line and packaging is awful
Why why why did you change this product line?? I hate the new bottles which are difficult to squeeze and get the product out, and the product itself becomes very sticky after 25 minutes and difficult to work with and wash out. I loved the old product and used it for decades, sorry I cannot work with this new line and difficult packaging. 😞 Switched to a different brand easier to work with.

Will not try it again.
Very disappointed with the new version. My hair turned more orange not burgundy. I will need to find a new company to buy from. Why did you change it. If it is not broke why fix it. I have been buying this product for years.

V2 Purple is NOT purple, turned out pink/red.
I got color V2 purple, I was happy to see a purple dye in permanent since other brands wash out in 2-3 washes. I followed instructions and I am not happy. I wanted purple hair. It’s a pink red color. Nowhere near purple. I’m so confused why you guys market a purple dye and it doesn’t even come close to purple at all. I just dyed it so I don’t know if it fades quickly. But I do NOT recommend this. I should have read other reviews first cause I’m not the only one with this problem. Now I’m stuck with something I didn’t want. Very disappointed and won’t be buying this brand again. Do you guys even test your products before putting them in market?
