The cable worked great? the box didn?t release the cable freely. I had to go back to the box several times to pull cable. This cable allowed me, a beginner, to put plugs on easily? that wasn?t the case with all the cables I had access to.

Not all cables are created equally, but in general, one vendor's bare copper bulk cable is approximately comparable to any other vendor's bulk cable. What usually makes our buying decision-- all else being equal-- is price. Monoprice had a very good deal on this 1000 ft. spool. Just that simple. Price drew us here years ago, and the combination of good prices and good products keeps us coming back.

Pros: Good quality cable. Has ftg markings. Didn't have to spend over $100 to buy a 1000' box that would take me years to use. Cons: snagged in box a lot, many trips back to box to pre-pull more cable, often having to open and un-knot. Bought before sale, is currently 500' for price of 250'.

The cable was exactly as described. I'm very pleased with it and will definitely purchase again.

Great cable. Been upgrading from Cat 3 and 5 to 5e for all my runs. No issues and I like the stiffness as the cable stays in place when I tack or mount cable to walls or supports.

The wire works but to unroll it was terrible. I have bought a lot of rolls of ethernet wire before and this one got tangled every couple of feet

I am very happy with the purchase. The original CAT5 cable that I replaced appeared to be a slightly larger gauge, but I believe it was a composite of copper and aluminum. The new cable appears to be full copper. Performance has been good (over 400 MBPS) on even the longest runs of cable that I've installed (around 150 ft). Cable is also working well for new wiring runs to POE cameras. Happy with price/quality.

Exactly as advertised, Good price, fast delivery and product was exactly as advertised. Looks exactly the same as product shown in picture. Installed in multiple locations using almost 800 feet and had no difficulty running the cable or installing connectors. Performs as advertised too.

made a few runs, each about 35' long. no problems of any kind. you can always find the cable with better insulation or wires but question is are they worth the money for your application. I will have no problem buying this cable in the future.

I ordered 1000ft of this cable to run surveillance cameras. I received it in 2 days. Packaged nicely and box labeled properly as well. I have been very pleased with it. The cable is easy to use a razor knife on it lightly to open up the jacket and not cut into the wires. I will be using Monoprice from now on.
