I have always loved Elf’s products. So when this came out I bought it . My face feels so soft after using it. I use it once in the morning and once at night. I can really tell the difference. My face is more hydrated. At 64 your skin maybe dry but this will be my go to from now on

I love how lightweight this feels on my skin and how moisturizing it is. I have combination skin and it worked amazing for me. Leaves my skin feeling extremely hydrated. 10/10 for me and would recommend to those with combination skin.

I was sent this product in exchange for a review. Tested this one out in the spring months when my skin is not as dry or flaky and can tolerate light moisturizers under my sunscreen. I wore it after cleansing in the morning with sunscreen on top before a run and enjoyed the texture - it didn't leave my skin dry but the fragrance of this and the sunscreen mixed which I didn't love. Also have worn under makeup and it sat really well without pilling or issues. If you have dry skin, I would recommend layering it with a heavier moisturizer if needed, as a prep step. But I think it's a great warmer weather moisturizer that is not too greasy or heavy.

Elf sent this for me to try and I absolutely love it! They consider it as a “gel” but it definitely did not feel like one at all. This moisturizer just hydrates your skin leaving it soft and almost like hugging your face. It has a small fragrance to it but definitely not overpowering!

I just tried this and it’s decent. I used it after washing my face and it left my face feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized. Unfortunately it left a film on my skin. When i rub or itch my face after using this it peels. Because of that I wouldn’t use this as skin prep before applying makeup.

I received this item for free in exchange for an honest review. I’m quite happy with this as a lightweight moisturizer for daily wear. The consistency is thin and almost liquid-like, however, that doesn’t mean it isn't a powerhouse when it comes to hydration as it truly is. The viscosity of the moisturizer doesn’t always equate to moisturizing power according to experts so I think that's good for consumers to know. Beyond that, it doesn’t have any pilling which means it can sit under makeup well. The lotion doesn’t have an overly oily or heavy feel and look on the face. One thing that I don’t love is that it has fragrance. I would love to see a fragrance free version as fragrances and essential oils are significant irritates to the skin. It doesn’t apply to everyone but I tend to veer clear of ones that have them. I didn’t get any irritation for my couple uses; however, the irritation can remain dormant and pop up later which is a concern. If you have sensitive skin, I would look for something gentler and with less potential for irritancy. If that isn’t an issue to you, I think this works for all skin types, but it would be treasured more by the oily skin type.

The lotion can comfortably sit under makeup and there is no pilling to report. The lotion doesn't feel oily or heavy on the face even from the first application. I like the bottle and I tend to keep those in this type as they can be used for more than just the lotion. One thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the fragrance used. It diesn't smmell unpleasant but is a major contributor to irritation when it comes to skincare. While it might just be a portion of the population, I like to play it safe as the potential for irritation can spark at any moment. It didn't leave me itchy or inflamed but would still like to see a fragrance free option.

I bought this recently and its one of the better moisturizers i've tried. The skin around my nose is both oily but flakes and is dry at once, and this hydrates it without leaving an oily cast and minimising my flaking.
