This blender is great value, has plenty of power, and I love the sleek look. I ended up having to return it because it only has two speeds, and speed 1 is really fast. I make protein shakes a lot and like the slow speed so I can add ingredients while blending without the lid. Even on speed 1, this blender instantly sprays ingredients (mostly water) into the lid. I need a blender with more speed options, or at least much slower speeds (like my previous one). That being said, this blender may be perfect for someone else.

This is a powerful little blender. I thought I'd give it a try and put dried seaweed, water and a couple of aspirin in it to treat an avocado tree I have in a pot on my patio. It seems to have some brown spots. That being said, I put the seaweed and aspirin in the blender and filled it with water. Without thinking too much, I turned it on and holy crap. Green seaweed was everywhere. So I thought I'd skip the pictures of that mess. Not the smartest thing I did today. So I will warn you, with this beautiful blender, always keep the lid on. I'm going to clean it. I give it 5 stars because it taught me a lesson. Now to clean up the kitchen and start over. Oh, and yes. It has a full size glass pitcher and one for smoothies.

Frozen margaritas and slushies, pay attention, because here I come. This low-profile, large-capacity blender quickly cuts ice for delicious frozen drinks. The compact design is awesome, and it's super easy to clean. I haven't tried it for anything other than blended drinks, but I'm sure it'll make quick work of smoothies. It's perfect for my bar, and would be great for an apartment or kitchenette.

use it multiple times a day since I bought it. It's replacing the top of the line Ninja blender. The difference between the two is amazing. These guys must have really good patent lawyers or something, it's strange that no one can replicate what the Vitamix does. It crushes the finest berry seeds in smoothies. They're just like that. Smooth. To some, that may not seem like a big deal, but for someone like me who enjoys a whole food smoothie every day, it changes everything. And yes, you can make soup with it. Raw veggies, some soup base, some cheese, some water, let it work for 5 minutes or so, and you have hot soup to enjoy, it's nutritious, and it doesn't contain any preservatives. I recommend watching people on YouTube how they use them. There's a certain way to use them, and there's a certain way to load the machine. Use the tamper! When you're making a smoothie or hummus or nut butter, pesto, etc... nothing happens unless you use the tamper. I've seen people complain here about the blades just spinning and nothing happening. There are bubbles above the blades, everything is frozen, etc. etc... that's not possible if you use the tamper. With a little experimentation, you can do with this blender anything a blender can do and more. It's hard to pay that much for a small kitchen appliance. I've been patient for over 20 years and have used countless cheap crap blenders. If you want to save a few hundred bucks, buy a refurbished one. But it's worth every penny. Not because of how expensive they cost to make, but because they are apparently the only ones that can do it. They have cornered the market on what are truly the best blenders in the world.

This blender does exactly what I need. I already have a Ninja blender but I need a second blender when I'm in the studio. This blender does everything the other one does. I use it to make homemade smoothies so I know what ingredients to put in because I'm diabetic and need to control my blood sugar as much as possible. What can I say, it makes perfect smoothies. It can easily chop ice, frozen fruits and nuts and blends them perfectly with other ingredients for a smooth and smooth taste. This is thanks to its powerful 1200W motor and the performance is exactly what I want. This blender comes with a large glass blending cup and a measuring cup that sits on top of the lid. It also comes with a portable blending cup and lid, and a small blade cover designed specifically for it. Although I usually feel that the cup and measuring cup leak to the top, neither the blending cup nor the measuring cup leaked. Great value for money, great blender, well made, worth buying.

When I was looking for a blender I was always looking for something powerful and this one was perfect. It works fast and is easy to use and I use it every day and I love it. The quality of the smoothies is amazing. The machine itself is very durable, well made and perfectly designed to fit under my countertop for easy access. It is also not as noisy as I would have thought it would be so I highly recommend this one.

This is a really cool little blender! I say "little" because the base is smaller than a standard blender, but the jar is a perfect size. The controls are simple, with only two speeds and a pulse setting, but that's enough. The motor is powerful and makes it easy to blend smoothies and large pieces of frozen fruit. It also comes with a large jar with a lid that has a tight drinking spout and a leak-proof gasket on the lid. The gasket on the blade assembly is easily removed for cleaning. I'm very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

This is the most expensive blender I've ever spent money on, but it's also the most powerful I've ever bought. It blends diced carrots, garlic, and ginger with ease. I only have to use the blending setting on low to medium. It's very powerful and the size is perfect for two people. It's a good deal online compared to what I bought at Fred Meyer. Easy to clean and the instructions are great. Vitamix has a great warranty too.
