Keeps things hot, so when your cup leaks all over you, you burn yourself and soak your clothes at the same time. The twist-on lid is just too persnickety. Sometimes it screws on properly, and other times it pours out between the threads when it looked like it was tightened all the way

My tea stays warm but paint is coming off after Contigo claims the cup is dishwasher safe. Also, the rubber ring band around lid eventually comes off and is impossible to get back on.

Waste of money.
This cup isn't great. 1. You CANNOT open this with one-hand. 2. It DOES NOT keep drinks hot longer than an hour. 3. It is only spill-proof when lid is cold & helps keep drink hot. So if you forget to close it, it will lose its temperature.

Contigo's worst design lid
I am a loyal Contigo product user UNTIL I upgraded to this product. I absolutely hate the lid. It does not close fully unless you really push down, It leaks, spills easily, and lid pops off if dropped (not idiot proof). After too many spills, I threw them out and went back to the Auto seal.

Needs a better lid.
I find trying to drink out of this in the dark is not easy, I usually take a drink of cold water with me to bed as I suffer from dry mouth. I reach over during the night and even in daytime I cannot get a drink without spilling some. The lid is not leaking, it is trying to line up my mouth with the hole in the lid. Most travel mugs have something you can feel with your mouth or tongue before you attempt to drink this does not. .Poor design.

Best mug I had in a long time and
First thing first I love my Contigo I have two but unfortunately the seal wears out then it starts to leak that is the only problem I have with it keeps my coffee hot for hours at work I was just wondering if you sell the seals that I can purchase or do I have to buy another one which is cool I will but I don't want to throw out the ones I have would love to keep on using them

We got this model for a Christmas present. Don’t know where it was purchased but it leaked the first time we used it. Knowing the gift giver would look for the mug, we decided to replace it. Found an identical one here and ordered it. When it arrived-it had something brown and slimy inside. Returned it and now awaiting surprise #3. Don’t recommend this product.

Hurt thumb to flip to drink
Have to take lid off to drink . Mouth piece is to tight to flip up. Have to find a replacement lid hopefully.
