DO NOT PURCHASE THE ALLSTATE PROTECTION PLAN!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE THE ALLSTATE PROTECTION PLAN!!! It is a complete waste of money. Our Beats headphones have broken twice in the exact same spot. We are still well within the 2-year warranty period, yet Allstate has refused to repair them. Their reasoning? They claim each prior repair cost $120, and because those “costs” supposedly exceed the value of the item, they consider the plan fulfilled. That is NOT a 2-year warranty. Instead, it feels like Allstate assigns inflated repair costs to avoid honoring their agreement. Charging $120 to fix a piece of plastic—twice—seems unreasonable and raises serious concerns about how they handle claims. If you’re expecting reliable coverage and peace of mind, this plan does not deliver!

    WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

DO NOT buy the warranty! I repeat DO NOT waste your money! I purchased Beats Headphones for $299 around November as Christmas gift! My daughter just recently dropped them and it needs to either be replaced or repaired! Allstate tells me that the headphones are only covered up to $199, but no where in the warranty does it state that, nor was there another option to purchase another warranty! They only give you one option, which is $29.99, extra to supposedly cover the headphones due to damage and the specifications state items are covered fro $0-$499. Ridiculous! I will never purchase a warranty for Allstate again!

    Scam Scam Scam

Don’t bother. The description states protection for $.01-$400 but the max is $199. Where do you find this info? Who knows it’s all the agents parrot at you. I went looking for the terms and guides and couldn’t find anything. Bought $219 headphones only covered up to $199. Not just that but the option being pushed on you is a target gift card as the refund option. Scam

This protection plan is a scam, save your money. When you actually need to use it, they do everything to prevent you from benefitting. First, they claim your account password doesn't work. When you reset it through email, it still doesn't work. When you reset it again, it finally works but the website is glitchy. In trying to file a claim, they asked me for a receipt. I provide the receipt, and when it uploads, suddenly they have no record of my purchase even though I received an email confirming they received the receipt. Every step in trying to file a claim for the plan I purchased is full of roadblocks making it impossible.

    Cant return??

If I return an unopened purchased item, you should be able to get a refund for the extended warranty. Other vendors allow you to do that like Amazon target sells Allstate warranties that you cannot get a refund for if the item you purchased unused is returned. That’s not right and if it’s printed anywhere before I purchased it it wasn’t very clear or I would not have purchased it
