Zojirushi 10 Cup Automatic Rice Cooker & Warmer - White - NL-DCC18CP

I had to replace an old National cooker after 17 years, and decided to go with this. Works great, although I would've liked to be able to remove the inner lid gasket/seal for a more thorough cleaning and drying.

I got this rice cooker as a holiday gift for my adult son. He loves it!! It consistently is making the best rice he has ever made. He is also making many Asian style rice meals in the cooker. I own the NP-HCC10 rice cooker. It is great too. I have not yet tried making other dishes in it but I'm going to soon!

As soon as I finally wore out my last Zojirushi, I ordered a new one. Even upgraded a bit. A great, great appliance.

I have only one issue, and that has to do with the "hatch / lid" does not firmly close ... yes, it does seal properly, but for the price one pays there should be no little annoying "quality issues" in its manufacturing.

This is my third rice cooker from Zojirushi. I always like the way rice turns out. This one, I like specifically about is the many options for cooking, not only for rice, also for quinoa, oatmeal and I can even make cake.

I love this rice cooker. Much better than stove top. Perfect rice every time. I have made Jasmine rice and long grain Basmati rice. It takes longer than stove top, but the grains come out perfect, very fluffy and delicious. Worth every dollar. It also made perfect quinoa. I’m still awaiting to make cake, 🤣

It works really well and makes rice that's much better than I was able to make on the stove. I've tried short & long grain white, and brown. All were great. The cooker takes longer than on the stove but I can work around this and the Keep Warm feature helps while I get the rest of the meal together. Minor complaint - the rinsing instructions are a little confusing - it's not clear why there are separate rinse and wash steps. All in all, it's a great appliance and I'm glad that I bought it. And the size is right for two people.

Our 10 year old Zojirushi finally ate it so we ordered this one. Love all the different settings and the fact that it came with recipes in the instruction booklet! Cooks the rice to perfection every time. Literally the only thing I miss about the old one is that it sang a cute little song to us when it finished cooking and this new one doesn’t.

I've never been a fan of, nor had had luck making, delicious brown rice. But both the regular and GABA brown rice settings produce excellent results. Can't wait to try the other settings.

I’ve never had a rice cooker before. It felt like, if I happened to make perfect rice, it was by some miracle or magical outcome. Now, thanks to this little machine, I make perfect rice EVERY time. EVERY TIME! It still feels like a magical element is helping me cook, but now I can point to this rice maker for having the magic. It just does everything it purports to do but perfectly. So it’s just a magical perfect machine!

The rice cooker was a gift for my daughter’s birthday. She loves it because she can cook different types of rice.

I purchased this last month I’ve loved cooking with it. I’ve only prepared sushi rice so far but it comes out perfect every time. The build quality is solid and the design is simple and elegant. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Our household has had a Zojirushi rice cooker for many years, and we decided this year that we just had to upgrade to a micom Zojirushi this year—this little thing is a workhorse! It makes the PERFECT rice every single time, and the keep warm function is phenomenal. No burning, no drying out your rice, even after several hours. It's hard to have anything but good things to say about it. If you have a tight budget, this is a no-brainer sort of purchase. The single, solitary complaint I have... Is that it doesn't sing. :( I know it's an incredibly minor gripe all considered, and I wouldn't let my review star-count suffer for such a tiny thing, but... I searched the page all over to see if it sang, and all I could readily find on the site was that "most" of their models sing, so I grabbed this little guy as it was in my budget. But if I had known it didn't sing, I absolutely would have saved up longer for a model that did. Ah hindsight... So, my one (minor) gripe is that I kind of wish they'd clearly denote which ones have the mysical tone options, and which do not. (If it is clearly marked and I missed it somehow, I'll eat my humble pie without a word!)

I love rice, but always make it sticky and gross. I have tried several “hacks” with no success. This rice maker is perfect and white and brown rice comes out beautifully. I highly recommend.

The time function in combination with the ability to cook both breakfast and dinner grains has been my favorite function.
