GROSCHE BREMEN Blade Electric Coffee Grinder

I got this coffee grinder in April, but I didn’t use it that much, not even once a month in average. I would say I used it around six times and it just stopped working. Now it is too late to return so that was $35 wasted. It did worked well while it lasted but would have not bought if I had known it was “disposable”.

I have had this since January. Only used it five times. It quit working today and the motor was smoking. Wasn’t even 1/4 cup beans. Don’t buy.

I'll begin by saying that Target was awesome about permitting a return on this item. I suspect this coffee grinder is a frequent flyer through the returns department, as the qc/build quality just isn't there. So here's the story: In the winter, I'm ok with kcups for a fresh cuppa, but in the summertime I like coldbrew ice lattes. Once a week I grind some fresh beans, pop 'em in a big jar with cold water, and put it in the fridge. It makes a strong smooth concentrate that is delicious with milk. My 18yr old braun finally gave it up and I chose this as my replacement. What a disappointment. I used it once a week in June and July, and today it just... DIED. No warning, no smoking or noises or other weirdness, it just quit completely and suddenly a few seconds after starting to grind my beans this morning. Sigh. The Grosche design is nice, the grinder was easy to use and to clean, and it produced a sufficiently even and fine grind for my tastes. At the price point, I wasn't expecting another 18 years—even though I didn't pay much for my old Braun, either, but we all know they don't make 'em like they used to. Nevertheless, a grinder that only works 9 times before quitting has some kind of fatal qc or build issue that turns all of Grosche's design efforts into wasted time and materials. I feel bad for the Grosche designers who put their hard work into creating the product; I feel sorry for Target who has this on their shelves and has to deal with all the returns; I feel sorry for all the consumers who wasted their time or money on it; and I feel sorry for our environment, which gave up natural resources and energy to create this thing that's just going to end up in a landfill a couple months after purchase. What a total waste.

Had it for 6 months, barely, not even used daily and today it quit. Can’t return because of time limit. Money wasted.

Completely stopped working after 3 months. Was good product up until then. I did not use it very much for it to stop working. Did not over work the motor at all.

This grinder looks great. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. The 2nd time using it, it stopped working and started to smell like burnt plastic. Had to return.

It does not work at the beginning. Something wrong with thr motor and i have to return it.

I was looking for a small and low noise grinder so I do not disturb my whole family in the morning, I am so happy I finally found it. It is a decent coffee grinder and does a good job. it is easy to use with just a push and no irritating buttons. within a few seconds, I get my desired ground coffee, what more can I ask for?

I purchased this grinder recently and it works great. It definitely does not get you that powdered espresso, but the small setting is perfectly fine for coffee. With the price taken into consideration I'm really happy, I know other ones that cost $100+. I also try putting the grinder back into the top and found that it made the grinds a bit smaller. Overall happy with the purchase

I needed a new grinder to replace my well aged one that is all taped up to hold it together. This one from Grosch is small, sleek, and sturdy and works great for smaller amounts of coffee beans. Also grinds garden herbs just right, and the clear lid helps me to see when they are at the pefect grind.

I have been looking for a while for a grinder that was easy to transport. This model fits the bill for its size but also does a nice job grinding at various particle sizes. Highly recommend.

Don't let the size fool you! I was amazed at how well this coffee grinder ground up my coffee. Extremely fast and very impressive! It is very user friendly, very easy to use! i have a nice fresh cup of coffee in no time. Highly recommended

I really liked the sturdiness and design of this product however it doesn’t always want to work and it hasn’t even been a year.

I got this few days back, excellent coffee grinder. Perfect size to carry on trips. The grinder only runs on the electric, wish it has chargeable batteries. Overall I am happy with the quality and build. Additional it had brush to clean.

Does exactly as described and looks sleeker than ever! I needed it just to grind coffee but it takes up no more space than a thermos so it remains on my counter without overcrowding the area. Perfect grind, perfect size!

Grosche products are def high quality and durable and they look great. The grinder is also high capacity and fairly quick. The grind is even as well making it easier to make your desired coffee with perfection.
