A: Think of the dial as a timer. The 1 is the shortest time. The 7 is longest. Turn the dial clockwise to a higher number to get the toast more brown.

We make sourdough toast and love that we don’t have to wait long for it to be ready. It is easy to use and clean. It has easy cleaning trays. The settings go from 1-7. I love the clean design. It also comes with an automatic off button.
